Heya, Escapist.

Many a year ago, I played a game. It was a hand-drawn point & click adventure game. Think of Machinarium. T'was on PC and would have been in the early 2000's. It was a side-scroller, too. Very atmospheric, almost gothic and disturbing.

All I really remember of it is your character being chased down a corrugated iron pipe by a huge green worm.

I ask for your help in tracking this game down as nostalgia drives me!

Cookie for info that helps me find it ^_^

Offtopic: took 9 attempts to find a bloody craptcha I could read!

EDIT: Also of a similar art-style to The Whispered World.

Yes!

I also remember this game, but can't for the life of me remember the name.
I played it on the PC when I was about 7.

I remember it being very similar to Machinariums art style. It was very Tim Burton-esque influenced sidescroller drawn by hand, and had a somewhat childrens vibe, so nothing horribly scary, but yet, not too childish.
It had puzzles to solve, and the only levels I vaguely remember are a pipe/sewer level and something to do with a classroom/floorboard...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Very VERY similar to this in its art style.
