Hello, I'm looking for a TV show that I remember seeing 6 or 7 years ago. I don't remember the name of it (hence why I'm asking here), but I do remember a few things from the series.
First off, it was animated. I'm pretty sure it was not Japanese anime, but it could have been. In any case, the show is about a young kid and his dad.. As well as their train. They ride around to different places, often abandoned ones, and somehow there are always train tracks there. Eventually, though, in some cave, the boy finds two blue magnets, and attaches them to the top of train. Through the magic of troll physics, the train can now fly. Nevertheless, there are still often railroads in abandoned places.
Now, there's one scene I remember somewhat well from that TV show. In it, the dad and the kid leave their locomotive somewhere outside, and go into a cave.. Or an underground temple.. Or something of the sort. After a while they get really tired and thirsty, but to get out of that cave they need to climb up around 100 stairs. The dad gives up pretty easily, but the kid is like, we must keep going and not give up no matter what, and even if we stop for a second, we will never get out of here, etc. The dad keeps sitting there but the kid runs up the stairs with the last of his strength, and as soon as he gets on the first stair, the light at the end of the tunnel starts getting closer really fast. In the end, when he reaches the top, we are shown that there really are only about 10 stairs, and it seemed like a lot to them because they were tired. The kid runs out into a beautiful field with flowers and what not, and shouts at his dad to come up. Now, this part I'm not sure about - I might be making it up - but I think he takes a flower or something and goes back down for his dad. He lets him smell the flower, and the dad believes that the outside really is just beyond those stairs. Then I think he grabs him by his hand and they both run easily up those stairs. Of course in the end everything works out fine.
From the description you can obviously see that this is a kids' show, probably intended for 7-10 year olds.. If not younger. But, I would still like to find it, childhood memories and all, you know. Anyways, I think that is it, and thanks in advance for any help!
