Looking for action anime with highly unconventional weapons

The thing I'm looking for seems surprisingly hard to find, so I'd like to ask you for help. Maybe you know something?

I want an action anime where the protagonist has a highly unconventional weapon of choice. Basically a thing you'd never think could be used as a weapon, but they use it and it's awesome as all hell. The dumber (in a good way) and more abiding to "the rule of cool" it is, the better.

The absolute best example of what I'm looking for was in the first episode of Ga-Rei: Zero, where there was this girl who used her motorcycle to fight - she did lots of tricks with it and used the wheels to tear the enemies apart. Here's a video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRweD27QsHk] of that scene, if you'd like to watch it.

I'd like something with that level of absurdity and awesomeness.

The plot should be something simple and easy to follow (I just want to turn my brain off and enjoy the action). There should also be tons of over the top violence, as it makes the action sequences all the more enjoyable for me. Bonus points for a pumping soundtrack that only makes those sequences more hype.

What I don't want is any sort of fanservice and/or ecchi. I just don't like it when a show focuses on nudity and sexual situations for the sake of "comedy". Some skimpier clothes are fine with me, as long as it's not a common occurence.

Other than that, I'd like the show to be complete and have a conclusive ending - it should not be required of me to read any manga afterwards.

Any suggestions? It can be something either old or new - everything from the late 80s up till now works, as long as it meets my criteria.

Thanks in advance for helping me out.

EDIT: Since people here generally have a hard time understanding what I want, for one reason or another, I'm going to further specify what I'm looking for in order to help you make more accurate suggestions:

What I'm looking for is an action show where the characters (preferably main characters) use non-combat-oriented items in combat situations, but they use it so creatively, they're just as good as any other weapon. They also somehow make using it seem like the most awesome thing you've ever seen in your life because of how over the top and insane it is.

This is pretty much what I'm looking for. Thank you. I'm still going to wait for more suggestions, if any pop up, but this so far is the closest thing to what I want. Once again, thanks a bunch.

do people turning into weapons count?
Depends. Go ahead with your suggestion, sure, but there's a chance I might not like it at all.

Deadman Wonderland was pretty different and over the top...
"Different" in what way?
Weaponized blood, with each Deadman having different weapons and attacks manifested from their blood.

It fails on "complete" though, I believe. The anime only got one season, 13 episodes.

Probably for a good reason. I heard Bobobo is utter garbage.

That's a shame. I really hate it when anime series is nothing more than a glorified advertisement for the manga.

Current anime? A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun, might tickle your fancy. That, or Durarara, Bungo Stray Dogs, JoJo, Hero Academia. Or if you want to go a little more mature, Black Lagoon or Cowboy Bebop. Trigun also has interesting fights.

Well the main characters weapons are devised from their own blood. The protagonist actually shoots his blood like bullets.

Which has the disadvantage of the long a fight goes on, he's losing more and more blood.

Plus the whole thing is set inside an amusement park themed prison.

What are they using to fight there? If just superpowers, then it's not really what I want.

Bungo Stray Dogs
What's the "weapon" of that show? I'm asking because the premise sounds good, but it'd be boring for me at this particular moment if the character uses just some sort of superpower, or a sword, or a gun.

I've seen JoJo, I liked it. Again, though - superpowers...

Guns - the most unconventional weapon in the world.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe I'll specify further what I want because if I don't, this thread is going to turn into a chain of people suggesting superpower-themed shows and me telling them it's not what I want. All right, here goes:

What I'm looking for is an action show where the characters (preferably main characters) use non-combat-oriented items in combat situations, but they use it so creatively, they're just as good as any other weapon. They also somehow make using it seem like the most awesome thing you've ever seen in your life because of how over the top and insane it is.

Has anything like that been done in anime, apart from that 30 second scene in Ga-Rei Zero? Durarara seemed to fit, but from what I've seen so far (2 episodes), it doesn't really seem to focus on over the top fights. Unless it's just a slow start and it's going to start being silly and action-packed very soon.

I'll go with these two. Bungo Stray Dogs has powers, but usually based on famous novels (think Moby Dick), and they either manifest as items or animals, plants, doors to pocket dimensions, etc. There's also characters with no powers at all, just highly skilled. Within that, there's various organization using these abilities to control the crime world, while others are on the side of the law, in an alternate Japan setting.

Railgun and Index are a mix of science-based technology vs magic, combined with secret miltia churches and black project organizations. It's hard to explain. The main character discovers his arm neutralizes other powers, but that's it. He's an ordinary guy, and often has to fight creatively, using his environment to win. It's fairly unique, honestly.

But, perhaps neither of these are to your taste.

Well, both of these sound creative and I can't even say you're not right because you are technically right about them covering my criteria, but they are definitely not what I want right now. I explained what I wanted in my previous post, but it seems it's already too late, people who had something to post already posted and I'm stuck with tons of shows I don't want to watch because of me not being specific enough.

Still, I thought people would think a little bit more outside the box and give me something better than wacky swords, gimmicky guns, and fancy superpowers when the example I posted was a chick literally using a motorcycle to fight. I mean, how many titles can you name where character fights using a motorcycle? Not many I reckon. That's what I would think is unconventional, not something you see in one iteration or another in literally every action anime there is.

Do you think it's going to help me in any way if I copy the explanation I mentioned earlier over to the first post for better visibility?

Your explanation isn't the issue. Reiterating probably won't help much. But yeah, you should add that to the top in bold. The problem is that anime tends to be homogeneous these days. There's an overabundance of power shows, and so on. And you're looking for something quite specific.
