I've had a desktop PC that I converted into a gaming system by upgrading the graphics card. It doesn't have internet but I still have fun. The problem is now I'm getting a little bored with the games I have. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good PC game to buy? I'm open to any type of game.

Thanks

Warcraft 3, Diablo 2, any of the Total war games, rise of nations, and any of the Civilizations. All excellent computer games.

Well there's a hell of a lot of games open to buy for PC. Are generally looking for new releases, or classics, or what? I mean I can suggest over one hundred incredible games.

I guess for now I can throw one at you.

If you preferred when games actually forced you to think out a plan and made you think of what you're doing before you did it, and you prefer stealth-action-FPS games, go with the very first Ghost Recon. Preferably the gold edition. It's really the best Ghost Recon out of any of the series and arguably the best Tom Clancy release ever.

I've been playing Starcraft a lot, lately. I'd recommend Black & White 2, maybe one of the civilization games. Rise of Nations is also a very good game.

I personally like World in Conflict, though it has to be bought off Amazon. I think it's fun, especially the nukes, and the FAB.

-Oblivion
-Fallout (all three of them)
-Halo CE
-Starcraft
-Diablo (1 and 2)
-Age of Empires (1 and 2, 3 was balls)

Take your pick. They're all good.

Personally, I'd stay away from Oblivion now. I played it a few years back, and remember it being fun. I purchased it a few months ago, and it just doesn't live up to what I remember before. It could just be that my tastes have changed, but it just doesn't feel as grand and great as it once did.

I might give Diablo a try, however. I have heard good things.... :)

Fallout 3 and Oblivion are awesome. Especially since you can get all those lovely creation kits for them on the PC.

I've had the most fun with STALKER, CS:Source, DOOM, Black and White 2, and the Civilization games are really fun. Also, The Movies is an interesting little time waster.

I would suggest Rise of Nations: Rise of legends. It's my all-time favorite RTS and you can get a great deal on it if you can find a copy.

P.S.

They'r pretty much the same, but the PC version has some really great mods and an awsome creation tool that you can use to do.........well, pretty much anything.

Fallout 3 is better for the PC cause you can download mods which makes the games lifespan bigger.

Get Oblivion for PC and download also some mods, that make Oblivion amazing.
