Looking for New RPG/JRPGs to enjoy

Hey Escaspists! Here's something a good gaming comrade of mine has propsed to you all.

He and I have enjoyed plenty of RPG games of some variety. We enjoy playing the co-op ones mostly, enjoying good times with friends and games alike. The only problem we face now is, what next?

We have enjoyed the Tales series the most, having played through them all, from Symphonia to Vesperia. Its all good fun, we play through all the Zelda games by taking turns on each dungeon. We played through games like Eternal Sonata, Skies of Arcadia, and Radiata Stories. But now, we need a little help on our next set to play through?

Any ideas, my gaming community? Any suggestion will help, but co-op/multiplayer are the best. If anything comes to mind, please, feel free to let us know, we appreciate all input on this matter.

Have you tried the Suikoden series? I haven't played them myself, but I have watched my friends play them and they seem like good campy RPG fun. One of the best gaming nights I've had was when we sat there tired and likely some of us were drunk, and we just played through a bunch of Suikoden VI, I believe, having Unskippable-like moments (of a much less PC variety...) the whole way.

Also, how about the Xenogears/Xenosaga games? I've heard good things about them too, even if the series will never be finished. Oh, the Shin Megami Tensei/Persona series rank up there too.

Those are some ideas. If I think of any more, I will post them.
