In a recent discussion with an old friend of mine, I mentioned how I had begun to play The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker again. He responded: "A Gamecube game? Why are you playing a Gamecube game that you've already done everything in? Why are you just wasting time experiencing stuff you've already done?" I was at a bit of a loss for a moment. Then I thought, isn't it the same as re-reading a good book, watching your favorite movie again or favorite re-runs of old shows?
Sure searching life for new and exciting events is a great thing everyone should take part in, but sometimes going back to the old favorites can help you see something you've never run into before.
Perhaps its just my insatiable love of Nostalgia.
