As the title suggests, i'm looking for some good PC action RPG's.

-Please Don't spam me about how Skyrim, Skyrim, blah blah blah, i have it, its fun, but it gets old fast.
-I'm an avid Diablo 2 player, so don't worry about suggesting that. Tried alot of the Diablo clones, IE Loki, and Sacred 2. Good games, but gets old after awhile.
-I didn't enjoy the Witcher as it seemed to want you to do too much in regards to actually getting into combat, and the loot you could get was non-existent
-I have been enjoying Risen quite a bit, it's not bad at all, and the pacing is good as well
-I have Oblivion and Morrowind and they are good games, but its the same formula, if that makes sense, where its a sprawling game world, but it feels empty and it feels like my interaction with the game world is limited. I love bethesda games but i need something different.
-Tried Gothic 3 and it was so frustratingly blah that i couldnt finish it. Haven't tried 4, and after looking at reviews for it, its not great. However i do like to play games that receive horrible reviews, I actually liked Too Human :)

I want something different. I enjoy being able to alter the way my character looks in combat and out of combat. If i have to stare at an in-game avatar for 40+ hours, i dont want to have to see the same armor and weapons. Does that make sense? I won't dismiss any valid suggestions. I have forgotten alot of the games i have played. To re-iterate these games MUST BE PC ONLY. Sorry for caps, i just don't want a ton of Console titles as they don't help me. Thanks in advance

You say you didn't like the Witcher - did you mean the original or the Witcher 2? Despite being part of the same series, they are VERY different games, and The Witcher 2 improves on practically every problem from the original.

You never mentioned Torchlight, which is a GREAT "Diablo clone", so I'm saying that.

The witcher 1. Haven't tried 2, because 1 annoyed me so much. 1 also didn't run that great on my machine. Its somewhat old. It plays Skyrim adequately, if not for stuttering every few moments to load a new area.

I know you said you didn't like Gothic but they have a spinoff remake of Gothic 1 Called 'Risen' Which is actually a really good remake.

It hasn't got all the bugs of their usual Blob of untested shite and it's got lots of interesting and useful items/spells (i.e. a spell that lets you fly and stuff or duel wielding items etc...)

However, if you want a good RPG and don't mind the graphics or age of the game i wholeheartedly suggest you get System shock 2 or the Original Deus Ex.
They're (in my mind) some of the best RPG games released EVER, They've got fantastic storylines coupled with great character development and a bucketload of items to collect and skills to go with said items...

Finally if you're up for a bit of Hacky-Slashy old-school RPGing then get Might and Magic 7, Arguably the best in the might and magic series and i Recently got myself hooked onto it again after playing skyrim and having a hankering for some old school hacky slashy...

Sorry this suggestion favours the old games, but tbh... most of the best RPG games ARE old... IMO modern games focus far more on the 'OMG LOOK, ITS SHINY!' and less on the 'OMG, ITS FUN!'

But that could just be me...

How about Deus Ex? I tried that a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it, no idea about Human Revlution, but it looks great.
Original Deus Ex, never got my attention. It seems good, but not my thing at the moment

Dungeon Defenders! it's technically a small game, but it's action rpg mixed with tower defense and it is incredible! very fun strategy, and they have free content and some paid dlc, but it's worth it.

Witcher 2, New Vegas, Human Revolution, Borderlands if you want to play w/ friends and like focusing on the build/lewtz aspect of RPGs.

Indeed, Risen is a good game, I mentioned that, but it may have gotten lost in my paragraph explaining why i hated Gothic 3. I shall look into Might and Magic 7, as i enjoyed the ps2 version ages ago lol

Fallout is good, and New Vegas fixed alot of the bugs with Fallout 3, but its in the same vein of games as Oblivion, Skyrim, Morrowind, etc. Its good, but lacks Immersion for me. Have Borderlands, and love it, snagged the GOTY edition off steam ages ago for a steal

Sounds like you might enjoy Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga and Two Worlds 2 (as well as the original Two Worlds if you don't mind shittyness, though from what I've heard the bugs are more comical than annoying).

Edit: also how would you feel about indie/rouge-like games like dungeons of Dredmor and Binding of Issac?

titan quest is great for an action RPG similar to diablo and torchlight.

witcher 2 is really good i didnt enjoy the first at all and only bought the second because i really like what CDProject red / gog do and it was a really good game.

the Gothic games are very similar to Risen, i dont know what one to recommend since i haven't played them

i would call depths of peril a decent Diablo clone, and Drakensang a similarly decent dragon age clone. if your looking for something wholly different mount and Blade might have enough RPG elements to keep your interest.

Fable was pretty decent back in the day, but I presume you played it. I liked LOTRO: War in the North. Very few RPG elements but if you like LOTR it should be right up your alley. Very fun to play with friends.
You can also try Divinity 2 or Two Worlds 2 which were improvement on their predecessor, but I barely scratched the surface on those games and don't know how they hold up towards the end. Hope this helps.

Does Dragon Knight Saga include Divinity 2 Ego Draconis? If so i might look into that, played the demo and was digging the style. Two Worlds 2 is comically bad, its so laughably terrible that i beat it so i could kill everyone that is capable of dying. If i boot up my master profile there's about a dozen npcs left

Nox is another game that borrows a bit from Diablo, but it is not at all a Diablo clone. Here you get 3 different characters, with radically different playstyles, and they also get their own storyline to play through, with different levels (they all converge at points, but they are still different enough to warrant 3 playthroughs). Can be found on GOG.com for $6. I must sound like a GOG advertisement both, but truth to be told GOG has a lot of great cheap games.
I second this!
Nox is great.
And since you like Diablo Im guessing graphics dont matter (too much)
