Sooo... Lost is coming back reaaallly soon.

So do you watch Lost? What are your theories on the mysteries? What questions do you think must be answered before the final episode? Does anyone care what happened to Claire?!

I had to give up on that show. I liked the first season, then the second... And then the mysteries kept growing without any answers.

I gave up in frustration, but I might watch it if this season resolves some plot threads.

Reformatted for better presentation.

1. Yes, I do. And I'm proud that my mother, who refused to sit through the opening scene of Romeo + Juliet because of the petrol station gunfight, has so far stuck with the show all the way through :D

2. Whatever theories I come up with will end up proven wrong, so I don't even bother any more. Stopped with theories sometime around the middle of Season 2. Though has anyone else noticed that if the bomb does indeed work and explode from the Season 5 cliffhanger, it causes a massive time paradox?

3. All of them!

4. Yes, I do. I really liked Claire, plus I want to see more of her. Emilie de Ravin is cute...

No I don't. My theory is that they are made of magic origami from the 4th dimension (not a reference to anything, I just think it would be eyebrow raisingly awesome). The questions that should be answered are why I wasn't consulted for twist ideas. And which is Claire again?

Couldn't hold my attention for more than two episodes. Lost all interest and now I don't care.

Lost all interest. Pun!

Also, it's one of those shows I had to kind of push through until it got to the good stuff, but once I got there it was great. It just takes it's time explaining all the characters in season 1 which is why it moves slow for most people.

OT:
I will not be watching it. I will wait until the season is over and then watch it. Why? Because watching shows week to week never sits right with me. I love watching it all at once to satisfy my lust.

Yes, I do watch Lost. No, I don't think they'll ever come up with a satisfactory conclusion.
Plus, they killed off a ton of my fav characters.

I don't even really like the damn show anymore, but I've invested so much time that I just have to see how it ends and what stupid asinine explanations they're going to give for all the twists. It'll probably end up being a dream that Hurley had when he was really high or something.

I could make a bunch of Lost related puns, but they might have LOST their humour by now. No I don't watch the show. The second season pissed me off and so I pissed off. Good on those of you who have managed to stick to it. You've got more patience to sit through twist after twist after mother-fucking twist than I do.

I have never watched the show, and I don't plan to start now.

Especially since this is the final season.

I watched it for awhile, I think I finished Season three, and then just watched parts in teh next seasons. Once they started traveling through time, I stopped caring. It just bothered me. I liked the sense of mystery the first season gives the island, with the monster, and unexplained polar bears and such, and the second season started the hatches. I could live with those because I liked the concept of a mysterious island they could get off of, hell, most of the things in the further seasons I liked, I just became busy and couldn't catch much of it. It's just when they start saying the island travels through time, that is when I just dropped the series.

oh god, I can't wait for the new Lost season. that last season ended on such an epic moment, i mean jesus. i just want to know what the hell could actually happen next.

(oh and every person who only watched the first one or two seasons of Lost and then stopped is basically a complete and utter twat, because from the third season up it's pretty much the best series on TV - other than, say, Mad Men or The Wire - and yes, the second season is a little slow, but I was rewatching it recently and it's not even THAT bad - it's certainly better than 90% of anything out there)

Lost is retarded. I'm pretty sure the people who write "Lost" wander the interwebz, searching for every theory anyone has posted anywhere, and then purposefully write something that no one guessed- no matter how fucked up and little sense it makes.

It's an exaggeration. But after watching the show up to about half of season 5, that's the feeling that i got. They were just trying to fuck with viewers.

On the other hand... They have commented on internet postings and rumors; so it's not far fetched to say they refuse to take the show certain places, to spite people who already came up with the idea in discussing the show's future.

It should do, it is the final season.

OP, yeah I'm a big fan, looking forward to seeing how it ends, although I have to say, I'm really worried that Jack just turns back time and the plane never crashes, if that's the end I'm gonna be really, really angry.

Yes I do watch lost, I'm putting my money that it is either Hurley's insane fantasies. Or a heroin induced dream for Charlie.
