So this thread name might sound a bit random but it pretty much sums up what im asking: Does anyone know a good game thats available on steam but is not graphically demanding?

As of right now i only have my laptop available to me which is some 2008-2009 model and is running windows vista. I can play world of warcraft comfortably on it on all the lowest settings, and i can just about get minecraft comfortably (not graphically demanding at all, but murders your memory!)

Im looking to get something on steam to keep me entertained until i can get back on my desktop tomorrow, so does anyone know anything good? Would like to spend £5 or less but if the game is worth it then i dont mind going over.

Oh and one other thing, no point and click games. Bored of those now.

EDIT: Okay i probably should have done this before but here is my steam page, just because a few things people have mentioned i already have :p

Yes I know theres a lot on there but i bought 90% of it during steam sales

If WoW will run, Counter Strike/Source, Half Life/2 and Day of Defeat/Source will probably run fine. Pick one and say goodbye to a few years of yuor life...

There's a great deal on Mount & Blade right now. I believe the entire series is 75% off. 15 bucks for the entire pack. And the games by themselves are about 5 dollars and under. I think it's a quite interesting game. A lot of fun to be had in my opinion.

Terraria is pretty fun, I think.

Eh... Not really sure...

You could always try TF2. Should run, and it's free.

Deus Ex (the original) is only 10 dollars right now.

Also, this might be a little bit outside your laptop's range, but Portal 1 is free right now, so if it can handle that, go for it.

Psychonauts and Knights of the Old Republic should do fine. I'm in pretty much the same boat with my '08 desktop with no GPU.

If you like old school RPGs, "Cthulu Saves The World" and "Breath of Death" are sold as a package for next to nothing (2?) and should run on anything with a screen.

terraria... dunno what it would be in pounds, but in euros it's 9.99. if it can run on my shitty 6yr old desktop computer with shitty 6yrold intel graphics card, then your laptop should be just fine...

Dungeons of Dredmore hasn't been mentioned yet.

A lot of free games worth looking at if you only want to fill a day.

Unreal Tournament 3. I still love that game and you know how the unreal engine is - it's the most flexible, least demanding engine ever. It's why current gen games look as good as they do - they cut so many corners by using the unreal engine. Pretty much anything can handle it and still look good.

Nice collection of games

OT: frozen synapse is really good, not sure about graphics requirements although I would think they would be low

Cheap, low spec and good? Well, I can heartily recommend Freedom Force (and it's sequel which proves that Nazis improve everything.) Charming, witty, incredibly strategic and very cheap.

Of course, if you're looking for something equally low spec, cheap and good, if a lot more frustrating, I also recommend Abe's Oddysee (and it's sequel which proves everything is improved with quicksave). With genuinally clever puzzles, oodles of secrets, incredibly satisfying platforming (sprinting through the scrab temple with an oversized crustacean on my ass is one of my favourite gameplay moments of the last year) this is a damn good game.

Pick up the Mount & Blade games. Not very graphically demanding, incredibly awesome, and 75% off today (meaning, they now cost in the area from 3.75 to 7.50). Trust me, you really can't go wrong with those gems...
