Not really on topic but I dreamt that it was next week and that Yahzee didn't review Brütal Legend. It wasn't scary, just wierd.
i only have bad Lucid dreams... so when i finally have 1, i throw myself out from a high point. both for the adrenaline it gives (try it sometime, in a dream of course) and it wakes you up from it.
i cant change the shitty dream into a paradise...

I once dreamt I was in some abandoned building with a flashlight. The scenario was inspired by the Penumbra game mechanics, but there wasn't any monsters, just creepy and some fun exploring. I'm not sure when exactly it went lucid, but it did.
I entered a room and the roof fell behind me and there was fire. I knew that obstacles herald the end of the dream, but I wasn't done exploring so I just imagined myself at the other end of it and kept on. Most fun part was clearly seeing the dream waver and reality seeping in as I slowly woke up.

I have to say, I love lucid dreaming, however, I haven't been able to experience any lately. The feeling of being completely aware during a dream is incredible. It's like you are in a different reality, doing whatever you want to. And you can just open your eyes whenever you want and "appear" in your bed.
By the way, being an 19-year-old virgin, my lucid dreams are predominantly about one thing...

Lucid dreaming is pretty cool, but for some reason all of my are in a post apocalyptic setting like fallout 3, full of dangers and such. I can't change the setting or anything but I change myself like giving myself the ability to fly and things like that. its awesome and I feel sorry for all those who can't do this.
Happens to me all the time. I don't quite know why, but it does stop nightmares from beind nightmarish whn you can control what's happening.
I've had short bursts of alot of lucid dreams recently. Here are the ones I remember clearly.
1)I was in this floating city, where there were just small rails on the sidewalks and piers used for some sort of docking (Never saw what, but I'm assuming airships if anything) and to just look around.Then there were these levels of rails and public transportation that went along with the levels of the city as you went up, and elevators and railcars for it. I remember it being really foggy and chilled.Anyway I was walking down the left side of a street (Where all the buildings were as I was on the far right side of the first level) and I remember walking past this palace and right next to the palace was an abandoned warehouse where people were raving, I could hear trance playing. Anyways I talked to some random raver who had just left the warehouse for a while. Then nothing.
2)I went from this random lobby where I was hanging with alot of my mates from school and some other people. Anyways, I eventually took this plane trip. Was at another lobby, with less friends and more strangers. We were supposed to get on a train, and it took off a few seconds without me so I did some crazy Mirror Edge shit to catch up with it and get back on. Eventually we got into this thing and the floors were hard, and there were some cushioned seats and a fireplace on the left wall. So I was just sitting in this thing knowing it was moving for the longest time, me, a male stranger, a female stranger, my best friend, and his sister. Anyways, I finally got bored of chilling in the chair, so I got up and noticed a door in front of the room. I open it up, and it was a balcony/ledge/terrace thing in front of the front train car. We were on this rail pretty high up headed through some mountains and in the distance I could see some towns and a huge spire.
3)I was at a huge University on this research team, where me, fellow students, and some professors would experiment on voluntary human subjects from the school. There were alot of crazy going ons and running around the place, I don't remember what I was doing for most of the time. The dream ended with me finding this one subject who had run away because of some personal problems, and I found the person and got them back on track.

Everybody dreams every time they fall asleep, it cannot be prevented. You're just not aware of it the way others might be.pimppeter2 said:
OT: I've had very few dreams of this sort. One dream of this sort I recall I had about two years ago. I somehow came to possess a Carnage-esque symbiote, green-and-black color scheme, and since I was aware of the whole thing being a dream I happily went on to maim everyone I came across in whatever fashion I could come up with. Sure, it made me question my mental stability, but it was still fun. xD
