So, there been some discussion here about incoming DC productions lately, and the tone in those. Or, particularly, how the success of MCU seemingly influences every other comic book movie out there, those made by Warner as well.

But, regardless, if you are tired of everything being too "marvely", and want something more down-to-earth, "realistic" and meta, here's a trailer of M.Night Shamalamadingdong's newest thing. The man who made two(three?) good movies and a alot of "oof" ones, brings you a third entry, apparently, in the... Glassverse? MNightCU? A continuation of Unbreakable(seen it, liked it) and Split(haven't seen it yet),
Glass:
Yeah, i know it's not MCU or DC- you know what, fuck it. It's not and that's GREAT. More movies outside of those.

Well there is the trailer for the new Godzilla movie?

And the one movie I have been anticipating for years now is The Irishman by Martin Scorsese, with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesic in the same movie:

Would one classify that trailer as a bit spoilery for the previous movies? Maybe it needed to be for hooking interest. But for someone who has seen and liked those movies, my interest is most assuredly hooked.

Yeah, suppose you're right. I was thinking about putting spoiler warning there.

EDIT: Done.

None of those are superhero movies, though.

Wait, Unbreakable and Split exist in the same cinematic universe?

There was a Nick Fury esque stinger at the end of Split.

I'll admit that surprised me when I saw Split. I knew jack about the film being related to my favorite Shyamalan film and when I saw the mid credits scene, was genuinely caught off guard. I really dug Split as a film too and Glass looks pretty good.
