Making movies 12 rating

i wish studios would stop making sequals to 18/15 movies and the go out of their way to make it a 12A or PG-13 if you live in America, they did it with die hard 4 which would of been so much better if it were a 15 like the original.

They did with the new terminator film, that situation screams out for a fuck now and again
instead they gotta scream oh poop when they see a machine coming at them.

Hey, we all feel the hurt. They do the same thing with everything. They take an originally R rated movie, bump it down to PG-13 because they think it will get more viewers that way, and are surprised with no one likes it half as much as the original.

The fact is, a R rating has never prevented anyone who is underage from seeing a movie. Parents simply don't care. I have been watching R rated movies since I was five, and depending on what it is, I'll let my future kids watch them too.

At OP, the first three Die Hard's were 18's.

If its a 15 then they can't sell toys to kids.

The reason why super hero films and Trans Formers were 12A was to sell toys and keep the old fans happy that their childhood wasn't being completely destroyed.

Much like how Dark Knight COULD have easily been an 18, yet they wanted to sell toys to kids thus they made it a 12A.
