Its an updated version of the originals and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 will hit PC for the first. Its 39.99 each but 59.99 for both.

The price is kind of high but if it has all of the DLC its probably worth it. Also im glad Activision is not gateing it behind another game, like COD4.

Update: Do not buy this burning bag of dog shit on PC until they update it or fix it. It doesn't contain the DLC and you can' t use a controller at least on the first game. I didn't even bother with two because I didn't want to go over two hours played time and lose my ability to get a refund on steam.

I should've known it was going to be bad. They announced and released it with out gameplay footage shown and did it with in a week. So the morale to the story if it looks like a duck and Quacks like a Duck, its a Duck.

Update 2: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 contains the DLC but it still a god awful port for PC

I'm buying them. MUA1 is so fun. Now just make an MUA3 that combines the good stuff of both please.

How updated though? MUA1 is well, one of those early cross-gen games with a bunch of glitches. I hope its not just shinier, but actually improved graphics and multiplayer that works better cause that game online was great, and it would be nice for people to actually be playing it again.

How was this not a thing sooner? You'd think, with the success of the MCU, they's be on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 14 by now.

Besides that, ugh. Too expensive for my blood, thought I did like the original.

It kind of was Ravensoft's Franchise because they did X-men Legends 1 and 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1. Then they did Wolverine Origins which originally was a Wolverine game not connected to the movie. Maybe they didn't want to do any more marvel games because their Next game after Wolverine Origins was singularity. Then someone else did MUA 2 which was the Worst out the series of games of X-men Legends 1 and 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1.

What we have gotten is the MMO Marvel Heroes. Which in my opinion sucks Because you have to level each hero up independently and you can't roll with a squad of 4. A lot people like it, you can try it, its free to play

Activison still hasn't put a gameplay trailer out which is kind of sketchy but TMNT by activison had very little media before its release and it was alright. o fingers crossed. I'm also hoping the PC versions aren't Shite

Classic Activision. $60 for two old games. Even $40 for both would be about $10 too high.
I have no idea why its this much because this is a digital release only so far. I think they no Marvel Ultimate Alliance Gold edition goes for 40 or more on Ebay

Excited as I love these games, although I am not buying them at that price, so plying gouging to me for older titles.

Do they include all the dlc then? I know for both of them the dlc isn't eben available to buy anymore.

Well, according to Steam reviews, Ultimate Alliance 1 does not include the DLC, and both games are plagued by every bug imaginable, completely nonsensical keyboard controls that seem to need to be re-binded from the ground up, and using a controller is a nightmare.

So... Whee! Standard PC port!

And that's where my interest ended. You could buy a second hand PS2 and copies of both games for that or even just get an emulated version and play it on PC for free (not that I'm necessarily condoning that). Plus with reviews saying it's just a complete shambles of a port and the frankly bizarre decision to not include DLC there's just no way I'd even consider buying this game. Pretty typical of Activision with PC ports but with these particular games I have to admit I'm genuinely disappointed to see 2 good games ruined like this.

Edit: One positive I got out of this was seeing that 95% of the reviews currently up have less than 2 hours playtime (even positive ones); presumably because they plan on getting refunds. It's a small consolation to think that Activision may not even make a profit because of greedy pricing and shoddy work.

I had both games on X360, never played the first one much. I played 2 first, and 1 seemed slow by comparrison, that and I accidently damaged the disc and couldn't find the game at my local stores. I did like the second one, but will hold off until the DLC characters are in it.

Holy fuck. I saw some footage of the first game. This isn't a remaster. I have the original Ultimate Alliance for the PC. Aside from some menu changes the game looks exactly the same. Not only is this not a remaster it's objectively inferior. There are less heroes in this "remaster" than in the original and the controls are all fucked. First game was perfectly playable with mouse and keyboard and using the gamepad was easy as pie. This one doesn't do well with either. How do you fuck up a re-release of a 10 year old game?

Friend of mine got the second one, haven't seen any controller issues with it ourselves. It works exactly like you'd expect, which is a bit funny because we both use PS4 controllers emulating Xbox 360 controllers. But he's got huge sound problems, and the thing that annoys me personally is that nobody appears to even be bothering trying to figure it out themselves, they're just telling everyone to refund and avoid it, because that'll totally get Activision/whoever that porter was to push out some patches for it.

I wish I had the smarts to debug that kinda stuff myself.
