I thought it was going to be for PS3 as well, but I guess not. Seems like they could have made more money that way.

I'll be getting the 360 version. I can avoid the apparent copy protection problems of the PC version, and I've heard that they are going to let you carry your character over if you have a save for the first one.

i'd like to add that i think it's really encouraging that Bioware is handling the sequel themselves, instead of handing it off to Obsidian like the follow-ups to Knights of the Old Republic and Neverwinter Nights.

i don't think i'd go that far, they've also had their moments of greatness... look at Fallout 2 and Icewind Dale.....

Hell yeah can't wait for it!! I really don't see why people hate mass effect so much. True it has its problems, but most games due. I personally think they just say that because its a game that has gotten alot of good press from the gaming community, and they like to be contrary. Just like the Halo 3 thing. But If they do like I have been told and let you carry over characters and story points, this is gonna be SWEET!

I'll be playing it regardless, but I really hope the combat gets a big overhaul. Thats one of the things stopping me from replaying the original.
