mass effect 3 problem (no spoilers)

i recently borrowed an xbox 360 and a copy of mass effect 3
i have played through both prior mass effects, but i dont have my shepard,and all my attempts to get it have failed so far

my question is, is it worth it to wait for my files because i really want to play through ME3 ASAP

but to hold me over i do have all the assassins creed games to play through

Wait for the files. I played ME3 vanilla without a ME2 save and the experience was much less rewarding as when I played with the ME2 save.
