WHy so much hate for the end?

I got the end ,where all Synthetics die and Shepard survives(at least i think he does). And I find that ending to be good(Could have been better ,but still satisfying),but why so much hate. To be honest that ending does make sense.

If you want to know why everyone hates the ending, here you go:

<spoiler=This video contains spoilers of the ending, so do not watch if you haven't beaten it already> The problem is that the prevailing theory, the one that the vast majority of the evidence actually supports, is that nothing that occurs after Shepard takes a Reaper laser to the face actually happens. It's all in his mind as he's fighting off the effects of Indoctrination. This mean that the story doesn't really end...since even if you pick the right choice, that just means that Shepard broke free and the Reapers are still on the rampage.

Beyond that, there were WAY too many plotholes and problems in the ending for people to like it.f It seemed like it was just an incoherent stapling together of cutscenes. How did you squad get back on the Normandy? Why can EDI be seen exiting the Normandy if she was in your squad for the final mission and you picked Destroy All Synthetics?

Anyways, watch this video: it does a great job at explaining everything in the endings and pretty much proves that the Indoctrination Theory of the ending is as close as we're going to get for an answer that actually fits.

I don't hate it, but it wasn't what I was expecting. I wouldn't say hated ANYTHING about the game, but I would have liked some closure.

I don't hate the end. I just don't particularly like it. It's very... meh.

It raises a lot of questions at the last second and doesn't answer them, and it has both Shepard and Shepard's crew behaving in manners completely uncharacteristic of them (Shepard not questioning the Starchild at all and Joker 'n' company going AWOL for no reason).

I hope the indoctrination theory is accurate, but I'm not expecting things to play out that way. Especially after how much of a big deal the fans made it, so if Bioware actually went along with it they would undoubtedly then be railed by the fan community for being uncreative hacks pandering to the masses.

The question is why don't you hate the ending. Think about it all the Mass Effect Relays are destroyed. Everyone who you brought to war with you is trapped in the sol system. The only livable planet has been beset by reapers for the entire game. There is no way anyone can survive and they can't carry enough fuel to make it back to their home worlds. It is impossible. Plus WHY THE FUCK IS JOKER LEAVING. Joker has taken you in and out of Hell why isn't he doing it now. Plus why the fuck is shepard agreeing with this starchild. He would have puched this kid in the face and said FUCK YOU TAKE THE REAPERS BACK GIVE US A CHANCE.
