Mass Effect What do you think Reapers do while waiting?

We're all horribly exited about Mass Effect 3 (and cursing the very soil that EA steps on...Delayed? Without a good reason? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-).

But anyway, we all know that the Reapers are waiting for extremely long periods of time before attacking. So, what do you think Reapers do while waiting?

And no "Sleeping" answers. 50 000-years is way too long to be asleep! My theory; they sing "95 bazillion bottles of beer on the wall" and watch YouTube videos.

My personal theory on the reaper invasion is that it's just their way of feeding. They eat (or "Reap", rather) sentient "Soul juice"..... That logic dictates that in th interim time between "harvests" in the Milky way, they just Harvest "crops" in another galaxy where they had "Irrigation systems".

The perfect coherence of the allegory is all the proof I need. Reapers' gotta eat after all...

Well, entropy says they'd decay so I go with stasis. That or they have some sort of entropy retarding field projector.

I still think stasis though, 50 thousand years is a long arse time to hang about with only what you brought with you to play with; especially since a machine would 'think' faster than we do, so that 50 thousand years is far more for them than it is for us.

I'd have to go with stasis, there's literally nothing else they can do since they already have their plans fully thought out. But I always wondered what their ultimate goal is. All they ever do is invade and breed over and over. I have a theory that maybe they're building an army to invade another galaxy or something, it just seems so pointless to do what they do over and over again.

But I suppose that's what makes up their mysterious nature, the whole "beyond comprehension" angle. Just makes them feel more like a natural diaster than real villains though.
