Hello, and welcome to the world of Pokemon.

This is a continuation of the Pokemon RP formerly managed by stormcaller. Like the original, it will be darker, more serious, and more intriguing than anything that Nintendo has licensed. This will be an RP of tragedy and romance, love and hate, vengeance and retribution. Humans and Pokemon alike will die in this story. Violence and murder await... You've gotta be the very best.

This RP will require a fair bit of commitment, and if you are accepted, and you feel that you cannot post at reasonable intervals, then please tell me.

Not everyone who makes a sheet will be accepted. That is why I urge you to do your absolute best while creating your character. If your sheet is up-to-snuff, then congratulations. If not, try again later.
Name:
Gender:
Age:
Title: (Breeder, Coordinator, Trainer, etc.)
Hair Color: (Like in the anime, all colors accepted.)
Eye Color: (Same rules as hair)
Appearance: (How your character looks)
Personality: (How they act, and how they feel.)
Talents: (What is your character good at?)
First Pokemon: (What you started your journey with, and when you got it)
Party Pokemon: (List Nicknames, Species, Gender, Level, and any other notes, include Eggs)
Other Pokemon: (Same rules as Party Pokemon for Pokemon not with you.)
Inventory: (Any money you have, as well as personal possessions.)
Other notes: (Anything else you feel should be known about your character, like your hometown, etc.)

Here's an example of how a sheet should look.
Name: Magnus Vanik

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Title: Trainer/Breeder

Hair Color: Ash Blond, lightness ranges during the season.

Eye Color: Forest Green

Appearance: A lean young man, 5'11 and 150 lbs. His hair curls gently down past his ears, and his chin is often the home of a 'landing strip' of long stubble.

Personality: A kind, yet reserved man. He is a firm realist, seeing both sides of most arguments. Despite what many people might think, he regularly hunts Pokemon for food. He is not cruel, however, and treats every creature he kills with the respect that its life is worth. He is often described as a 'big-brother' to many of his friends.

Talents: Empathy; a subconscious connection with Pokemon. He has little trouble communicating with Trained Pokemon, even those not his own. He is also a talented breeder, having one Pokemon that is the offspring of Quillz, and one of Reynard, and one more that is their mutual offspring.

First Pokemon: Quillz, a female Cyndaquil given to him by his step-father at 13. Now a Typhlosion, she has a caring and protective personality. She often acts as the adoptive mother of many younger Pokemon or humans.

Party Pokemon:
Quillz (Typhlosion, Female, 48)
Garnet (Cyndaquil, Female, 4, Shiny)
Eon (Vaporeon, Male, 15, Shiny)

Other Pokemon
Scout (Furret, Male, 42)
Quake (Quagsire, Male, 40)
Reynard (Ninetails, Male, 45)
Red (Typhlosion, Male, 40, Shiny)
Ryu (Dragonair, Male, 35)
Tank (Rhyhorn, Male, 30)

Inventory: An 8-inch all purpose hunting knife, collapsible hunting bow and arrows, $599 cash, backpack of various supplies, tent, sleeping bag.

Other notes: He aided in the Battles against Team Rocket for Lavender Town and Saffron City. Now, he is leaving Kanto to help get rid of them elsewhere. He lived in Eterna City prior to leaving for his adventure.

The RP will almost certainly start shortly after the Christmas holidays, unless circumstances bring about its postponement. I look forward to working with and reading the sheets of all who try out. Good luck.

Looks very interesting, I'll join. Don't expect me to make very long posts though, I'm not good at them...

I'll probably have a sheet up tomorrow, I'm not good at making characters when it's 4AM.

How many pokemon for the party? And how many for 'other'? Any restrictions for the inventory?

I plan on getting a sheet up soon!
I would recommend only having a few Pokemon to begin with. If you want your character to be a new trainer, then start with only one or two Pokemon about level 5-10. If you want to be a trainer who already has some ground covered, then just maybe two or three Pokemon in your Party. No Pokemon higher than level 30, and don't make all your Pokemon max leveled.

I'd really prefer to have more younger trainers than more experienced, but be sure to have your characters aged from 10-20, to avoid any 40-year-old creepers.

So would a mildly trained person work? With about 2 25-ish, and a few lower ones?

And what about the inventory?
Yeah, that level arrangement should work.

As for inventory, think of what your average Pokemon trainer might have, and go off that. Add one or two items that have personal value, if you want.

Rainbow. Rainbows are very intriguing. You never know what's at the ends of those buggers..

Oh, no! D: Does this mean I can't have my favourite Flygon? I was thinking of having him and then maybe a low level Ponyta and another low level. Is that too much?

Hmm... I'll let you have a level 35 Vibrava, and your low levels. Is that okay? You can be a semi-experienced trainer. That way, you'll only have to wait 10 levels for a Flygon. Sound good?

I was actually thinking of the Flygon as a hand-me-down, but.. Actually, hows about a level 31 Ampharos instead? :) Might just make that easier.

Well, I'll be damned. Might as well not colour me at all, in THAT case!

Just make it however you want. The Flygon may be within reason, but just make sure it works well in the character sheet. It's up to you, but try to stay mostly within my guidelines.

EDIT: Sheet removed, was lame. New one coming soon.

Yeah yeah Mookie, I backed out of GMing The Castle, but I recently had an RP I'm in go on a long hiatus, so I've got enough free time.

Also, I'm planning on seeing how long poor Eric can go without getting traumatized, if you're making this dark. Of course, that's assuming you let me in the RP.

Great, now I'm rambling.
