Hey there peoples. I just read this article and it got me to thinking.

We put a lot of time and effort into not spoiling the story for some second-rate hack job of a plot in the latest shooter/RPG/RTS, but we have no qualms with, as the article explains, ruining the feel of a game by telling people exactly how mechanics work, or how to break the game right from the get go. Should we as gamers put more thought into this? Should this be a more serious sort of spoiler than story-based ones?
