Mega Man Weapons: Your Favorite Posted Here

What are your favorite Mega Man Weapons? Since there have been so many of the things, let's divide them into 3 categories being in order:

Most Useful
Most Entertaining
Useless, but Fun

For me:

:Most Useful" is definitely the Metal Blades. I used these things so much in Mega Man 2 that onlookers would probably have assumed that Mega Man was spinach green.

"Most Entertaining" is the Hornet Chaser. It's a gun that shoots bees. The bees kill things and fetch useful items for you. Pure, unadulturated awesome.

"Useless, but Fun" is probably Rush Marine. 9 times out of 10, I'd rather just jump through a level by myself. Still, it is turning a robotic dog into a cute submarine that shoots energy pellets out of its mouth.

Most Useful: Metal Blades. Anyone who's played MM2 will put this in as most useful, as there's no weapon more broken. Triple Blade comes close though, but is better balanced.

Most Entertaining: Gravity Hold. Sending entire armies of robots flying upside-down off the screen is always amusing, particularly the shield bots and tigers.

Useless, but Fun: The Wire from MM4. Holy crap, Mega Man can look UP! It would be more useful if you could swing from it a la Spider Man, and one particularly good hack has done exactly that with the Wire.

Most Useful: Metal blades all the way.
Most Entertaining: Flash Stopper. LOVE that little weapon.
Useless but fun: Cutman(can't remember it's name). For some reason, even though it did crap-all, I found that little scissor head beyond entertaining.

Definately the metal blades are the best.

I really like the gravity bomb in terms of fun, it's just awesome to time the activation of it to MAXIMUM DESTRUCTION.

I haven't played enough MM to determine a useless weapon.

I loved the Wire. And the balloon too.

Metal Blades all around for me. It's the definitive Mega Man power up, and it really does tear through everything.

Sure is Metal Blades in here, for good reason I guess.

I've always been partial to the Mega Buster, particularly in the Mega Man X series.

Most useful:Mega Buster, when all else fails, charge shot.

Now, i haven't played all of the Mega Man games...i haven't even beaten MM1, but i have played almost all the X games, so my weapons come from them.
Because its still technically Mega Man.


Most Entertaining:MMX 2 Neon Splashier.

Most useless but fun:MMX Flame Thrower, powerful, but you had to be close to the target and it used up a lot of EN, still its always fun to destroy things with a flame thrower, especially during a speed run.

 

[Mr. In-between]

Useful: Beat. Beat is awesome and can really be a big help in tough spots.

Entertaining: The Pharaoh Shot

Useless, but fun: Charge kick

 

[Aura Guardian]

The roller skates in Megaman Legends. And the Laser from Legends as well
