Originally slated for PS4 on 26th September but delayed 3 weeks with an unannounced (timed exclusive nonsense) release date for Steam, Megaton Rainfall places you in the position of an invincible interdimensional superhero trying to defeat invading aliens while avoiding as much citywide collateral as possible. Yes, a fully destructible city is there, plus much more! VR support too, if that's applicable to anyone. Trailer...

So what are your thoughts on a Man of Steel simulator?

Edit: Huh, it's priced surprisingly low, at 12 British currencies. So best to temper expections there, even though the developers say you have a full sized Earth to fly around with semi-procedurally generated cities. Time will have to tell how this plays out.

While avoiding collateral damage? So like Just Cause in reverse?

It's a neat idea, and it looks nice, but it feels like it'll get boring fast. Unlike Just Cause.

I bookmarked this one a couple of weeks ago. Here's hoping that it's good, though I don't expect much more than explosions over random simple virtual cities.

Interesting idea. It begs the question, is there going to be a consequence for causing too much collateral damage?
