I've seen topics on thing people like and things people hate. I want to know about what makes you indifferent. Think a contraversial topic that a lot of people seem to care about, but just causes you to go "meh". I want complete neutrality here. I'll go first.

I don't care if Han Shot first. The way I look at it, either way Gweedo is dead. I didn't even notice the Special Edition change until someone pointed out to me.

Also, I don't care how we fix the economy. When economics is the subject, my mind kind of glazes over. Oh I want the economy to improve, but I don't care how it happens or who made it happen. Part of my indifference is rooted in the fact that no one really knows how to fix the problem, but likes to pretend they do.

boy...this will sure start some rousing debate...

Mass effect 3's ending

"WHAT?..but Vault!" you might say "youve been going on and on about it" <-yes my loyal fan on he escapist, I have

HOWEVER the reason I put this under "meh" is because now..after the initial stage of depression/anger/bewilderment I have no strong feelings eather way

unlike alot of peopel I dont HATE bioware/mass effect 3, in fact I still like ME3, I also am not bothered by the ending anymore

I';m quite content right now to accept it as it is and wati for the DLC ending...that may or may not change things but right now I feel fine

I know what you mean, I was initially disappointed and angry but now there is just those serene, vacant feeling surrounding the whole series for me.

I used to play the absolute shit out of the first two but I just don't feel the urge with the 3rd.

Maybe I'm ready to move on with my life, or maybe in several years time all the pain, hurt and suffering will return and i will have a mental breakdown, sob long into the night and kill myself just before sunrise with the broken shards of my own cruelly twisted memories...

But for now, sure I'll go with "meh"...

well there was a period where all I wanted to do was play ME3 afterwards (thats all I could do..it was the only thign I could thnka bout)..even with the ending...so its not really ruined (though I understand why its offputting...unlike ME1 and ME2 theres no payoff...just WTF)

Im on my second playthrough but Ive given it a break because there are otehr games for me to get through

I went through that stage too, started second run through but I just couldn't shake off that feeling of what's the point.. With the other games, you could go for your perfect playthroughs, where every conversation flows exactly the way you want and every decision is calculated and meaningful. But now there is just no meaning to it all. I doubt the DLC cutscene is going to change too much. I'm half expecting to just be informed as to why the Normandy has left Earth and crashed somewhere (seriously, did the editor just stop working, was it a bank holiday or was his kid about to debut in little league or something, I don't even...)

Suffice to say, I think I've just moved on, put yet another bitter disappointment behind me and am now looking for pasteurs new... Max Payne 3 was pretty awesome [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.375680-The-view-from-the-nest-Max-Payne-3] so no point in dwelling on the past now right?

I almost started off talking about the ME3 ending, because I don't care either way, but that mainly because I've never played the game that much. I played the first one a little, and enjoyed it, but cannot see myself being worked up by a video game ending that much, no matter how terrible.

I could get worked up by a bad movie ending or bad book ending, but most video game endings barely phase me either way.

Pretty much anything involving the Liberal Party of Canada. Moreso for the Bloc Quebecois.

Day One DLC and On-Disk DLC.

I just don't care.

It's their product so - as long as they're clear about what you're buying when you buy it - they can do whatever they like. But I'm not about to get up on a soapbox to defend it either. Because what exactly is the point of that? It's like defending the right of toy companies to use packaging that's difficult to get into.

There are very few games I buy additional content for anyway.

So meh. Don't care.

Basically anything to do with pricing, it be DLC (day-one or no) or special editions, I just don't care.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't be more indifferent to DLC, DRM, all that kind of stuff. I just...don't...care.

Let's get one thing straight, here.

Greedo:

Guido:

Anyway, I feel rather meh about Mass Effect 3, to the point where I haven't even played it yet. I just haven't felt particularly compelled to spend my money on that right now. I'd much rather spend it on something from ThinkGeek, like maybe the 11th Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver or an Aperture Science shower curtain for my new apartment in the fall.

I find anything about sport or celebrities terribly dull, and while I have strong interest in politics, I'm not particular bothered about economic policies as I honestly don't have the knowledge to know which is best, right or left, though I tend to hang around the centre.

Well there's this for starters. Plus I find the marvel films alright at best, with the exclusion of Iron Man. And I find the Batman trilogy average.

I have a hard time caring about gay marriage. I mean, it's not illegal any more to be gay in most countries, and they're allowed to live together as domestic partners; being legally married doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference, nothing is stopping them from having a ceremony without the legal contract right? I mean, I know some hetero couples who live pretty much like a married couple. My uncle and his fiance have been together for a long while (I think almost 20 years) and have a 15 year old son, and they aren't married,it affects them very little.

There's not really any reason that they shouldn't be allowed to marry, I just think it doesn't really matter much at all.

edit: I have a feeling that somebody is going to make me regret posting this : \

They'll probably list off a laundry list of benefits that marriage has (in terms of taxes). Beyond that, I don't see why.

Um...yeah, seems likely. Mind you, a few people have already said they don't care about the economy, which is also a pretty big deal.

...

MLP:FIM. IMHO, it's not a great show, but nor is it a terrible show. It's just a thing on TV of no particular concern.
