Depending on in which country you live in, you're either on the 24th or 25th day of December now and also depending on country, you celebrate xmas more on one of the two mentioned
I am personally at midnight between the 24th and 25th while writing this!

I'm so God damn old (and you'll agree with me when I tell you what my favorite two gifts were this year).

Generally, I don't ask for things I need because I'm a GD adult and I can buy my own stuff. I don't have any desire/need to wait for Christmas to get a frying pan; if I need one, I'll go get one. However, this year, my Mum got me something that I never knew I wanted...

Microfiber Sheets

Holy...words....fail.....should have sent....a poet

This might be one of the cheapest (price-wise) gifts I've received but I am loving these sheets. They are silky smooth and they do a very good job at trapping warm air, something very nice in these cold (well....usually cold) Minnesota winters.

I also got a Blender. I am trying a bunch of smoothie recipes because I am working on not being a fatty and a nice fruit smoothie is a much healthier/better pickmeup than a pop. So far I've tried a base of Yogurt and a base of milk; Orange Juice gets its turn next!

Well, I'm attempting to make a roast for the holiday. Nearly got set on fire when I went to light the pilot light, but luckily only my arm hairs were singed. Will find out in the next half hour or so if the roast is any good. Present wise, it doesn't look like I'm getting anything since the sorta boyfriend really doesn't like the holiday (he's Jewish), but I may get a gift card to Old Navy from the oldest brother whenever I next see him. Got that to look forward to I suppose.

Other than one of the latest episodes of Laser Time ruining most classic Christmas songs for me [http://www.lasertimepodcast.com/2014/12/16/laser-time-the-filthiest-christmas-songs-ever-made/], that's about all that's going on this year. May be able to see The Interview in a theater tomorrow, but that may fall through since he sorta boyfriend wants to see it with a group, but has made no moves contacting said group of people about it or bought tickets.

You are correct, but its all gone, and on christmas we had what appeared to be a tropical storm that sounded like someone was outside hitting the wall with a metal bat until 6 am.
