Hi, i want to play MGS4 without killing anybody. Will killing gekko count as a kill?

Nope, you need to kill them just before Raiden kills Vamp, so to punish you for that makes the game impossible to beat without kills.

I think it refers to People and not Geckos, but i think you can use V-rings and stun ammo for grenade launchers. But it's only a guess.

Gekkos don't count, but those guys in rocket suits (Act two, while on the top of Drebin's truck) do. They more or less look like Gekkos, so always be careful and look. The game basically tricked me into getting a kill on that bit.

You're better off trying to buy it because if you fuck up once, all your effort will be for nothing. I think all of his items go on sale on Wednesdays and Sundays, but I'm not sure what days exactly.

yeah you can kill geckos thats not a problem,
the rocketsuit men are the only problem in the entire game- from what i remember you can not fire at them and then drebin will just drive past them anyway. but its been a long time since ive played it so i could be wrong
just stock up on the tranquiliser bullets and its pretty simple to get through as long as your careful and dont do anything rash,oh and you can use normal bullets against the beautys when they are all geared up but once they are just as women you cant use normal bullets
