Ahh, that looks interesting. Is it supposed to be the definitive version of STALKER then?Charcharo said:....hanselthecaretaker said:Charcharo said:Call of Chernobyl existshanselthecaretaker said:I think a more polished, fine-tuned version of STALKER would be ideal. Keep all the options and level design intact, and improve the AI scripting, weapon physics/ballistics, animations, hit responses, and throw in some more opportunities for gameplay tactics like setting up land mines, C4, more dynamic destruction, etc. FPS dream come true.
You are alluding to CoD but it really has nothing to do with what I mentioned.

I mostly agree but I dont get the clunk part. When Americans or Brits talk about a clunky game, all they usually mean is animation quality and perhaps UI being fast to use (as if that is bad). I just dont get it. They call things like Far Cry 4 polished but its so slow to navigate its menus and animations are irrelevant anyways.... I dont get it.Poetic Nova said:That and the original 2033 may have felt clunky, but it was part of it. And I honestly don't even like that some aspects of the jury-rigged weapons were removed. Like the Uboink's inability to hold shells in all 6 clamps depending on how many shells are left in it. And this is just giving one example of why I don't even like the remake.Charcharo said:it really did not. The UI took a step back, the looting is simplified.B-Cell said:Last light improve everything from metro 2033. other than i prefer atmosphere in original.Poetic Nova said:I honestly stil don't have alot of interest in Exodus. I fear it being streamlined alot more than Last Light already was compared to 2033 (which its remake suffered from aswel). Last Light didn't hit the atmosphere completely right either, and was a bit too much focussed on action. I gladly get proven wrong, but until then I am afraid i have to pass on this. Regardless how big the script is, or how well it may be written.
Redux version benefits 2033 most.
Last Light is a good game in its own right, but none of its mechanics feel right in 2033's remake.
