it really did not. The UI took a step back, the looting is simplified.
That and the original 2033 may have felt clunky, but it was part of it. And I honestly don't even like that some aspects of the jury-rigged weapons were removed. Like the Uboink's inability to hold shells in all 6 clamps depending on how many shells are left in it. And this is just giving one example of why I don't even like the remake.

Last Light is a good game in its own right, but none of its mechanics feel right in 2033's remake.
I mostly agree but I dont get the clunk part. When Americans or Brits talk about a clunky game, all they usually mean is animation quality and perhaps UI being fast to use (as if that is bad). I just dont get it. They call things like Far Cry 4 polished but its so slow to navigate its menus and animations are irrelevant anyways.... I dont get it.
Ahh, that looks interesting. Is it supposed to be the definitive version of STALKER then?

I thought every single person even mildly interested in Open World FPS games or STALKER already knew of it...

I play so many different game genres and have limited playing time to compound the issue. Haven?t even gotten around to playing Clear Skies or CoP. The few times I?ve looked for SoC mods I haven?t seen this, but thanks for pointing it out.
