MGS: What is your favourite moment?

Unfortunately, most of the best moments for me are piled into the last two acts of MGS 4.

That being said, every time the Boss would get into hand to hand combat with me in MGS 3 gave me an awesome rush of panic. That, and fighting the thirty Metal Gears at the end of 2 had the words "THIS IS SO AWESOME" running through my head the entire time.

And in MGS 1, when Snake asks, "What happened to the music?" Priceless.

Mine would be in MGS 3: Snake eater when your on EVA's bike rideing through the base with the'Shangahold' (Metal gear) chasing you. Punding music, Snake screaming while you fire the M60. Good times

Have to agree with that and also the tons of metal gears at the end of 2.
Probably the best thing about 2 was, after playing as Raiden for that long, turning it off.
You can't tell me you honestly enjoyed running around naked as Raiden

I've always loved the whole "This is military espionage, oh wait, here comes the crazy sci-fi...with a vengeance" It's one of my favorite parts of the series.

Hmmmm..... the entire of Act 4 in MGS4.
Any part with the Boss in, in MGS3, especially the final fight, I loved that.

the car chase at the end of mgs

the cutscene where the guards are getting killed by invisible grey fox on mgs1

the bit at the end of mgs2 when you meet up with snake and fight those ninja soldiers (arsenal tengus, i think they're called)

the cutscene where vamp is introduced in mgs2

the fight with solidus at the end of mgs2

the bit towards the end of snake eater where you plant c4 on the shagohod's fuel tanks.

the intro cutscene to snake eater where snake jumps out of the plane.

i haven't played much of 4 yet. i'm up to act 2. so far my favourite bit is where you have to sneak into the pmc base in the middle east because that's more traditional metal gear solid.

I love that one.

But my all time favorite has to be the one where Psycho Mantis has you put your controller down on the floor in Twin Snakes, then Snake sort of looks towards the player and nods. I shit myself just thinking about it.

My fave is probably the first game where you walk on snow and the stupid soilders go. "Hey who's footprints are these?" Then they follow your circle get confused and then follow another circle...that just cracks me up.

Also the whole Pycho Mantis thing in MGS1...I was only 10 when I played it and who thought of someone reading your memory card! I thought my Playstation was possessed by him and I couldn't play it for two years T.T

How can you have liked that part? It was like some breakdance battle right out of the movie "You Got Served" only with swords. I thought it was freaking ridiculous.

Oh well, at least it served as comic relief.

I'm going to have to say all of Act IV from MGS4, the fight with The Sorrow in MGS3 (actually, pretty much all of MGS3 for that matter), and the fight with Solidus in MGS2.

Also, I liked the tracking portion of MGS4 in...was it Act III? I think so. It was different, and with or without the Solid Eye, it was a pretty interesting -- if oftentimes irritating --experience.

For me, it's definitely Act 2. It gave me chills watching it -- that's how exciting it was! hahaha!
