I realize this has been hotly debated since MGS4 was announced, but I really do wonder what everyone else thinks of this. A friend of mine bought a PS3 mainly because of MGS4, and we completed it with great satisfaction, simply because it was everything we expected and a bit more. Now with an Xbox 360 release possibly in the cards, my friend seems almost regretful of his purchase, as he only owns one other game (Folklore, which I heard is a good game, but I don't think he's played it since he bought it).
I know some may say it was still a worthy purchase for all of its other aspects, such as the online connectivity features and Blu-ray player, but unfortunately he doesn't have any internet at his house (he's a student who lives at home right now) and he has no hi-def television set. Jokingly he'd often hold his PS3's superiority over my own Xbox 360's, but I think the biggest reason he incited this sort of rivalry was because MGS4 was a PS3 exclusive. In any case, is there anyone in disagreement with the possibility of an Xbox 360 release of Metal Gear Solid 4? Or perhaps some who still find the idea to be balderdash?
