Did you see how they(microsoft) gave EVERYONE in the crowd one of those new shiny 360s? What was that all about?

No, I didn't see that. But to answer your question, yes. I hate Oprah. She talks about poverty but she owns a gilded toilet.

It made me cry a little, but it's things like that which please fans, and make people more loyal....

And give people like me a fighting chance on Ebay for a quick one.

Yeah sure, I don't know why they did, I guess they felt generous.

This man is a genius.
And if you need further proof, since Oprah>almost everything, Porn>everything, which is 100% true.

My response as well.

OT: Microsoft just did it because they really didn't have anything else to do.

No new innovative console launch, just molding a Wii into a 360 in an attempt to steal from the Wii market.

Um, duh. Everybody knows Oprah is only good for charities, and telling us what to read (or else you get whipped). She shouldn't have a show in my opinion.

Oprah handed out cars. She also handed them out to an audience who got in to see the show for free, and who's only professional obligation was to fill a seat. Microsoft handed out 300 USD consoles to primarily press personel and indistry insiders, most of whom had professional obligations to meet.

In Oprah's case, it was a publicity stunt disguised as an act of charity. In Microsoft's case it was a bribe disguised as a publicity stunt.
