I was in the middle of a dig down in Minecraft recently when I fell into what I fought was a cave and thoroughly creeped a few seconds later surviving thanks to the distance between myself and the creeper. After looking around I realised that through blind luck I had found a stronghold which I confirmed upon discovering an end portal frame and a silverfish spawner.
