Okay so I am running a server, and I have a friend who is on it and has no problems, so there is nothing wrong there. However, every now and then, my Minecraft just instantly freezes, I cannot exit out of the game, I have to ctrl+alt+delt to get out of it, then when I enter the game again after opening Minecraft all up again, it freezes instantly again.

Can someone please help me fix this issue?
I do have Optifine, and all my settings are on low.

Thankyou

Sounds like a possible mod issue.

Personally when in doubt, I find it best to wipe the game and do a completely fresh install. Then add the mods one by one.

You may want to check that all of the mods that you are using are compatible with one another and installed in the correct order. Sometimes mod install order is an issue, and some mods clash.

Or it is possible that the mods are not up to date with the current minecraft version or vice versa.

Alternatively it is a PC problem. Despite being a very simple game, it eats up a lot of memory, and that used to cause crashes for me a lot on my old PC. Although the fact that you need to ctrl+alt+del is strange.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but it's one of those things where you really need to see the computer for yourself, or else know enough details that you can see the problem as if it's happening to you.
