MMO recommendation

So, I need your help. I'm looking for an MMO to pass the time.
It has to be free.
I really don't like space shooter or first/third person MMO shooters.
I like adventure games. Something I can explore around in level up. WoW or RS material but free.

seconded. I've yet to find a free MMO with any kind of solid endgame at least. They are all pretty much variations of your average korean grind-fest.

My knee-jerk is Guild Wars since you only really pay a start-up fee for the game itself. My other recommendation is going to be Cabal: Online. You mentioned adventure games, which is a shame since Uru is (at the time of this post) not technically being supported anymore.
