The error may be solved by trying the following means.
- Make the distance between 3DS and Internet connection device (Wireless access point, wireless LAN router and so on) close to 2 to 3 m.
- When equipment (radio wave, cordless phone) that interfere with radio waves is operating, temporarily turn off the power of the equipment.
- Confirm that each cable is connected correctly to the Internet connection equipment being used.
- Check whether the LAN cable being used is damaged.
- Restart the Internet connection device being used.
- Set the value of "MTU" to 1300:
- Activate "Main unit" from the HOME menu.
- Select "Internet settings".
- Select "Internet connection setting".
- Select the connection destination you are using. (Connection destinations 1 to 3)
- Select "Change setting".
- Touch the arrow on the right side of the bottom screen and select "MTU value".
- Enter "1300" and select "Decide".
For advanced users (For the settings below, please do so by those familiar with network equipment.)
- Perform firmware update of the Internet connected equipment you are using. (* 2)
- Change the channel of the Internet connected equipment you are using. (* 2)
In addition, if you are using an Internet connection device that we have not checked for operation, communication may become unstable.
