Modern Warfare 2 DLC content

Now i don't know much about the PSN or PC online community since im on XBL, but as most people know that the matchmaking system for it isn't that great (lack of dedicated servers and all that jazz), but what annoys me is that apparently they will be bringing out a patch with the DLC that fixes this issue. I know that most sources are unrealiable when it comes to these sort of things but if it's true i think Infinity Ward are taking the p*$s here. Shouldn't this patch have originally came with the game to make it, well, work better? The game is great but recently it's pretty broken ( glitched lobbies, negative 5000000 xp per kill, positive 5000000 per kill). I don't want to be seen as bashing IW cause they make great games but i mean....ehh, i don't know :\

Anyone have any info on this?

I hope it's true that they're going to bring dedicated servers to Mw2 on PC..
They needed to fix the matchmaking anyway.. it takes frickin' five minutes to get ingame. :\

Ive never had insane amounts of XP or negative XP for kills before, but I have unlocked random titles for being booted out of games. Seriously once I got 3 new titles I didn't even achieve for leaving a game early.


The server disconnect is SO annoying on psn. You will find yourself with 24 kills and almost at that nuke and then ext thing you know the host will migrate and the server will boot you out.


Oh and I highly doubt they will bring back dedicated servers, but i gravely hope they will improve the server issues in general.

Well I personally think that they should do what they did in the last game. A glitch comes up they need to fix it. Eventually however it will seem as if even the way a game works right will come with a price...*sigh*. Well, I do know one thing, if I ever have this exp glitch happen, I will stop playing that game. It takes all the fun out of it.

Hopefully, your wrong and they will do the good thing and just release the patch. Knowing IW (ex: no online acheivments, active nerfing to weapons that are completely unbalanced (1887)) and other things. I know that IW will most likely just release the patch. From what I have heard (keep in mind this is the internet where you take all the info processed with a grain of salt) there is a new dlc scheduled sometime in spring (tbd). All I know and hopefully your senses about the patch are wrong. No offense.

I dunno if they add dedicated servers they may as well just throw in mod support as it will come in eventually. With the way they went on about it I doubt they will give back dedicated as they really dug their heels in with the issue. Even though the reasons they gave were stupid.

I like to think that they're working on fixing it.

But probably whats really going down is that they don't give a shit since they basically made enough money to get a new studio made of gold.

Nah, none taken at all, i hope i'm wrong as well. Spending an extra £12-£15 on something that should have been shipped with the game initally is mad.

i really hope we dont have to pay for a patch to fix the glitchy a@# game.. i love IW.. but they seemed to have dropped the ball on this one. they dumbed down the 1887s.. but if you bling it and put on FMJ same exact nerf as before.. now it shoos thru walls. i dunno about about PSN or PC but like the thread creator.. im on XBL.. and theres one glitch that shouldve been stopped weeks ago.. the elevator glitch and the under the level glitch.. It bites so hard.. it chaps
