Because I refuse to pay £55 for any game I will buy it when the price goes down but Activision can fuck off if they think I'm buying it at launch.

90 bucks for a game, thats overpriced or the game has to be ridiculously good which I doubt. God damn Activision starting to act like EA, but in a different directsion.

These companies wonder why used games and piracy are thriving?

Was not going to buy it anyway but they can get to fuck, the market price has always been £40 for a single game at max, what the hell are they playing at. Hell this could have an effect on all retail games in the UK comes down to that ill import everything I buy cheaper at the exchange rate as it is anyway.

WHAT THE FUCK!?

I'm sick of this, the gaming market is screwed over here, I mean, it's not just the small stuff like not getting Pre-Order bonuses, DLC, but it's also not getting games (Fucking BlazBlue, I want it!) and having to pay a shit more for video games!

How the hell is this fair for us?

Sorry for the rant, I'm just getting sick of it.

Wow. Just wow.
You would think that game companies would think about people before releasing things, because without us, where would the gaming companies go?

Greed has taken over the publisher companies. [I hope Infinity Ward isn't behind the price rise]

Meh. I can afford it, so I'm not too fussed. Sorry if that sounds like I'm rubbing it in.

Then again, I'm such a rich bastard I'm trying to pre-order the Prestige Edition.

Im getting really pissed off with the people who make Call of Duty after COD3. They just turned into morons. COD4 was playable I guess could have been better but could have been worse but COD5 was horrible (apart from the epic ending) and I think Modern Warfare 2 will be the same.

How dare they try and raise the price and think people should raise to their level. Screw them. Honestly they should all be put in a firing squad and shot.

Well, basically,paying 90 dollars for MW2 isn't that much.

But will I buy it ? I don't know - maybe I'll play a demo or something, and after that, I'll get it.

Cause the first one was delicious.

So that's why Activision wanted Sony to drop their console prices. They want to overcharge the customer themselves.

Interesting....

Is this just the console price? The link doesnt mention specifics but I am assuming it is about the consoles as it states the regualr price is £40, where for a Pc game its £25-30.
IF the Pc version is still cheap, then all I have to say is owned.

Bah, that's just annoying. If that was the only game I had my eye on due to be released around that time, it would be okay, but as it isn't, my purchase of MW2 will likely be put on hold for a while.

That's the price I'd perhaps expect to pay for the Hardened Edition, but certainly not the vanilla package...

I think so, but even if the PC game costs 90 Dollars - I wouldn't mind.

I work - I buy the game - I enjoy the game.
