With the usual hype of saving to buy christmas presents etc. I dont know which game I am going to treat myself to this fall, with so many great games coming out and so many delayed ¬¬ let me know your thoughts on my two most anticipated games.

p.s. I am not a Left 4 Dead fan hence Left 4 Dead 2 being left out, I need a descent storyline not an objective "press 'x' not to die" lol.

Both repetitive games, except you interchange "stabbing" with "shooting" (Then again being someone who enjoys a good JRPG I cant use variety as a big part of my gaming life). But I'll go with A2 because I sucked at Assassins Creed less then CoD4

Both of those seem great, but you may want to check out Alpha Protocol. Also, early next year is Mass Effect 2, another good one.

press x not to die is a Yahtzee quote and its for quick time events which l4d has absolutely non of...

do what most people do in your situation... buy modern warfare 2 and pirate AC2....

I would go with Assassins Creed 2.Though I'm biased because playing an almost fully multiplayer game like MW2 isn't much fun if you suck in it and sadly I do suck at COD games.

Don't you do the exact opposite, given the massive amount of buggery Activision's been up to lately?

OT: Buy AC2. You know you waaaant toooo...

If your into multiplayer then definitely CoD, simply because of the replay value your going to get from it. If your not then its a much harder decision. They're both most likely going to have solid single player experiences so it really ends up being whether you like shooting or stabbing more.

sure i want ac2 aswell a "real" one but common looking at this logically modern warfare 2 has the replay value of a good 1-2 years because of its multilayer(been playing cod4 since it launched and till now..lol) so buying a real copy of that is more desirable

and iam talking pc versions here....

I've heard Assassin's Creed 2 has multiplayer actually. I'm too lazy to actually do the research, and I doubt it's true. Still, I'd say Assassin's Creed 2, mainly because I played the first Modern Warfare and found it to be spectacularly mediocre, especially considering how everyone was saying it was so great. I just can't understand what's so mindblowingly fantastic about it.

I would say Assassin's Creed 2 only because the enemies in COD:MW tended to have spidey sense and turn around right when I was about to knife them or that they could tell I was the only prick in my squad who wasn't invulnerable, and I don't think that these problems are going to be fixed with Mordern Warfare 2.

I'd get Assassin's Creed 2 since the change from AC to AC2 will probably be a lot larger (and likely better) than the one from COD4 to MW2. Honestly in MW2 I expect it'll be COD4 with different maps, a few slightly different guns and maybe a different game mode or two but really you can get the same experience on COD4. Plus; do you want to give money to Activision? I wouldn't be surprised if MW2's price was chalked up $5-$10 higher than AC2's.

And I'm probably different then everyone else here in this (though I guess I play other FPS games for my online fun), but I liked AC better than COD4 anyways.

Well that's what I'll do at least; buy AC2 when it comes out and wait a few months if not years (like I did for COD4) til the price drops on MW2 and I'm bored then I'll pick it up.
