this is simple, what happened in a game that just completely turned you off and just not want to play it again.

for me, its oblivion. i know this is a popular game, but the first time i played it i got turned off. first i fight my way through a sewer and thought "this is a pretty fun game". then i exited the sewer and saw a whole world for me to explore. so i annoyingly traveled ten billion miles to my first destination where i had to talk to some old guy. he says how im a hero and bla bla bla, i wasnt listening. finally, i get board and start stealing his stuff. he didnt like that and called for help because im a thief, so i pull my sword out to shut him up. he laughs and says he was part of the elite guards or somthing and kills me. i res back at the sewer. i turn the game off because i was not going to walk ten more miles just to talk to that ass again. perhaps if i played it again i would like it, but i dont have much desire to.

This one bit in Prototype where I just got all the powers and was actually starting to have fun when I fought this boss. After five tries I finally beat him (he didn't die for some reason)he injected me with a thing which drained me of all my transformation powers. The next mission had me go up against a battalion of choppers, tanks, and mutant freaks whom where faster and stronger than me.
The game was advertised to make me feel like a badass, and that most certainly was NOT how I felt while playing.

Well the last boss fight of Final Fantasy X didn't make me hate it... I just became very disappointed.

The "find the landmark" part in LA Noire made me not want to play the game for a few days.

Just about every platforming section in the God of War series makes me want to pull my hair out. Though I stuck with the games because I knew I'd soon be seeing another ridiculous spectacle soon.

I absolutely love the game, it would appear on my personal top-10... but... Max Payne.

The moment that you take down Punchinello, and then get ambushed by Nicole Horne and her mercenaries. I still love the game, but I admit, I liked it a hell of a lot better when it was Max Payne conducting a one-man war against the city's criminal underbelly. Felt every bit like the film noire throwback that they were intending. But the moment you've got secret government projects and high-tech mercenaries... I dunno. Things just, in my opinion, went downhill rather sharply.

The art in King Arthur the Role playing War game where all you fight is super overpowered armies that even a force consisting of your best knight and sorcerer and stacks of golden griffons and murk-wood archers cant defeat.

I made the mistake of playing the "next gen" sonic game from 2006 and I didn't make it past the level where you had to release a whale by getting to a button that was very high up. I never got to that button and whenever I would try again time would run out and I would have to restart and play a good part of the level again just to get to a button i can't press.

Megaman 2- Heatman's stage.

I hated this stage. I think it was mixture of those disappearing/reappearing blocks and then the actual robot master himself that annoyed the crap out of me. I mean he's a fuckin' lighter for god's sake. It just.......rrrrr.

I think I'm just gonna go back to the first one. But, who knows. Maybe one day I'll beat the second one.

Suikoden IV. You acquire a super blasting power you can't control. A fleet attacks your home island, and you wipe them out with a single blast that also destroys a good chunk of your city's defensive wall. The town elder asks you to please leave so you aren't at risk of accidentally blowing up all of your neighbors.

I say "that's entirely reasonable" and head out. They put me(and the friends who insisted on coming along, even when I asked them not to) in a little rowboat and send it out to sea. We eventually wash up on a deserted island. There's plenty of food and water, and my friends also have me collecting wood. After a few days of this, they show me a raft they've built. The conversation goes something like this:

Them: Let's go home!
Me: Uh, no. Exiled, remember?
Them: Don't you want to prove to everybody they were wrong to exile you?
Me: Nope, 'cause they were right.
Game: Well, fine, then you stay on the deserted island forever.
Me: Okay.

Having reached a conclusion we were both apparently content with some 3 hours into a supposedly 30-hour game, I turned it off and never touched it again.

When I continuously see the game has copied several elements from different games and called it his own gameplay.

"NEEKOOOH, CAAAAHSIN, LET'S GO BOWLING!"

I'm kind of busy right now, Roman-

"LET'S GO TO THE BAR AND GEET DRUNK!"

No dammit, now could you lay off on calling me for a-

"LET'S SEE BEEG AMERICAN TEE-TEES!"

After about the fifteenth time or so I couldn't take it any more and traded the game in first chance I got.

And from that point on, I vowed to stop playing that fucking game. I put up with the whole "people are being persecuted because of an odd denomination by Space Nazi stormtroopers", and then I watch some massive **** punch a character who I actually had some respect for. And instead of changing her personality and anger issues, she thinks coming on to a 14 year old will solve the problem.

Which end boss? Thee were about 4 in X. Sin->Seymour->Jecht->Aeons+Yevon. Did I miss any? None of them were really challenging, either, because I have a bad habit of power leveling before the end of a game.

FFX isn't really my answer, though. For me, it was Fable III. The first time I got to the Sanctuary and thought: "They wanted a place that served as a menu system that you could play so that it does not take the player out of the action. Fair enough. They made it like Ken's Dream House. Ok, I can deal with it. IT TAKES YOU OUR OF THE ACTION MORE SO THAN HITTING A PAUSE MENU! WTF?!"

IT seemed to me that it did the exact opposite of what they wanted, only times ten. I'm guessing that they are really just trying out different stuff with the series, but it made me kind of mad. Oh, and they got rid of augments to be replaced with crappy weapons. Most of which can only be leveled with Xbox Live, which I don't have.

Oblivion - Got turned into a vampire by mistake, ran back to the Vampire slaying club I'd joined and they had nothing to say about it. Also staked out this one house everyone was saying was full of loot and had like 10 guards. Got in and stole the same few silver candlesticks that are in every shack in the whole game - there was a locked cabinet which contained precisely nothing. Turned out the Gray Fox was just the exact same guy copy-pasted all over Cyrodiil with the same voice actor just with a bag on his head. Promptly lost interest in the thieves guild. These things happened at the same time which just made me realise that I wasn't really enjoying the game - I was just trying to enjoy it seeing as so many other people seemed to. It just became a single-player MMO where all the quest givers are voiced by the same 4 retarded voice actors. Not even Sean Bean's seductive tones can coax me back, in fact I just feel embarrassed for him being in this game. Also every time I bumped into a damn Oblivion Gate - those things became a damn chore and when I do one for an actual quest they tell me in minute detail how to close it like I haven't already closed 10. Oh dear lord, so many things about this game. Maybe I should restart and just try and kill everyone in Cyrodiil. The IQ of the entire Oblivion world will rise by 100 points at least. Sorry to rant but I wasted so many hours trying really hard to like this game and it just kept disappointing.
Thief: Deadly Shadows - when I saw they used Papyrus font (or something really similar) which is the first second of the game.

Just Cause 2 and it´s obligatory flying mission, I fucking hate flying so making it obligatory is a sure way for me to exit the game, uninstall it and return it.

Orsino in Dragon Age II. You son of a..
You side with him in the final battle, kill EVERY SINGLE TEMPLAR THERE, then he randomly turns into a fat blood demon thing (What!? Oh, that's right.. he was the guy that was talking to your mother's killer, 'O' as he signed the end of the letter. This is only explained to you if you sided with the templars however, if you're a mage then he just whips out the dagger after the battle is over and starts carving away with barely any explanation atall). One would assume then that he would be doing this to aid you in killing the templars. Unfortunatley, common fucking sense doesn't apply to the last 15 minutes of that game, so the guy whom you have helped all this time decides he's going to try and kill you for no reason.
