So I was just sitting in my room, everyones asleep and I see a someone knocking on my window. No face or anything just a hand off to the side. I thought it was my friends(He doesn't live far away, but too far away to be pulling this shit) but after I poked my head out no one was there that I could see anyways.

As I sit here typing this I keep looking back to my window thinking some one is going to start tapping again, but so far its been quiet.

Anyways every have moments like this? Where you were alone and something not right just happen and you and you are starting to feel crazy?

The moments in which I talk to myself make me feel quite insane...

I'm not though. The giant panda next to me named Mr. Fuzzles says so.

I once wondered if I was crazy but the voices in my head assured me that I'm not. I'm starting to think they are though.

Yeah...after not sleeping for a couple days, I start to wonder, even if I'm sitting there alone.

If I'm tired enough I'll debate with myself about whether or not I should close my eyes for a few moments while driving. Thankfully I've always won.

Ok, time for a little story.

I remember one time, late at night, I was in my bedroom and I kept hearing this odd high pitched howling noise.
I thought maybe one of the cats were trapped in a room or something. I proceeded to search my house and located all my cats (4 of them). They were all sleeping.
I went back to my bedroom, and about 30 minutes later, I start hearing this odd, creepy howling sound again. I went through the house once more and checked on all the cats a second time. They were all in their same locations fast asleep.
Ok, I thought, that's really weird. I headed back to my room again. This time, I didn't hear the odd sound for the rest of the night... Perhaps I was hearing things?

The next day, I was up late again. Unexpectedly (because I had totally dismissed it at this point) I heard that really eerie howling. At this point I was like, Ok, what the hell, I'm going crazy!
I went through my house once more, checked on all my cats, and as I should have expected from the previous night, they were all minding their own business.
I went back to my bedroom, and I could still hear this freakish howling sound.
Eventually, (after determining that there must be a source for this sound, and deciding that I wasn't going totally loony) I looked out the window. I was sure I looked before, but this time I noticed something.

There was a stray black cat, with large yellow eyes peering at me from the porch through my window. Kinda creepy, but heck, I sure felt a sense of relief knowing it was just a cat and not my mind playing tricks on me.

Anyway, yeah, this cat just kept on howling. Quite annoying. It actually continued to show repeatedly for about a week at around the same time. It had the same routine of howling at my bedroom window at around midnight. After that though, I've never seen it again. Wonder what happened to it?

And so concludes my unnecessarily long story about how I initially thought I was going crazy, until of course I discovered the logical explanation behind it.

EDIT: TL;DR - I kept hearing weird noises, thought I was going crazy, and later discovered a stray cat howling on the porch outside my window.

When programming sometimes I try to reason with the compiler to fix all my errors for me in the unholy debug of truth. Or I look for missing semicolons.

YOU STOLE MR FUZZLES! YOU MUST DIE!

OT: *insert pseudo-relevant lovey-dovey bullshit here*

Also the many times when I feel like I'm being watched by...something.

I have one of those giant soft toys, and it's about three quarters of my height . It's really cute and in the shape of a puppy, and it sits on a chair on the opposite side of the room to my bed. One night, after turning off the light I suddenly noticed how hollow its eyes looked, and I was inexplicably feeling really paranoid, so I kept staring at it from my bed. I told myself I was being stupid, so I made myself look away so I could go to sleep, but when I glanced back, it had crossed the room and was almost at my bed. It scared the shit out of me, and I jumped up to sitting position, but on second glance it was exactly where it was meant to be. I felt pretty damn stupid after that, and I wondered what the hell had gotten me so paranoid and if I was going insane.

The End! True story.
