More Halo:Reach Boosters Reset. Hilarity ensues

Ah, nothing quite like the whining of 10 year-olds. And their foolish attempts to rectify unplugging their Xbox's internet to get loads of credits.

If you look for the Gold text (indicating a person at Bungie) on page 7, a booster says what a lot of them say. Which is that Black Ops is going to be so much better etc... and the Bungie guy agrees, that guy is pretty awesome.

Paste any funny boosters whining if you want, I stopped reading at page 7.

Whats up with these kids... I've never bought a single Bungie game, but seeing as they seem to put at least some effort into keeping the cheaters out it kinda saddens me.

Whats most laughable about it is the people saying "I will never buy one of your games again, and I'll make a group of people that won't also!" Right. First of all, no you wont. Your lazy, you wont make a group of people, trust me. Also, who cares? Bungie don't. They make money of other people, they don't need you, sadly =3.

If you want to link that GT, I can tell you how many times your sister called, when, how many times that resulted in challenges being reset, and how many credits were earned.

So you're legit, but we should patch the exploit you used between 10/7/2010 11:32:55 AM and 10/7/2010 12:11:15 PM to report 4000 credits earned 15 times?

I am going to continue to spot check, but I need to get back to work and won't be posting the results any more. People, pulling your network cable is not legit, and we do take notice. Eventually, a machine will be taking notice, and the machine is a lot more cold blooded than we are.

That, sir, depends on who you are along with your morale. I honestly had no idea that it was wrong in any way, especially since it is considered a glitch: something the programmers messed up. I truely had no idea it was wrong in any shape or form, i just knew that it was fun.

I'm all for permanently banning this guy from online gaming services... or at least banning him for a few years or so. But only because not only is he willing to continue cheating, but he is also arrogant enough to state this OUT LOUD right where the Bungie staff can see it.

I also love how one guy goes on about how Infinity Ward is supposedly a far more "fair and balanced" developer because Modern Warfare allows him to cheat and glitch all he wants without consequence. Yeah.

Anyone else see the comment someone made that pointed out all the "Black Ops is going to be better, bungie sucks" didn't realize that buying Black Ops would give money to Activision which could be used to help Bungie as they just signed a 10 year contract with them.

There's another thread on the subject that let people appeal against the reset. If it turned out that Bungie had made a mistake, they gave them their rank and credits back. On the other hand, if Bungie checked and found out that they had in fact been using the exploit, the suspension time got doubled.

I can only imagine that this will cause a total shit storm on the Bungie.net forums.

To really sum up my experience on bungie.net Halo Reach forums of late,

20% of the community is complaining about Armor Lock and the maps. While an avid fan of Armor Lock, they do have the right to complain about the maps. There really get stale after a short while.

20% is complaining about the Cr Resets, normally the same bunch who were banned from using the file share in Halo 3, but believe that Bungie was unfair and should give them their stuff back.

40% is complaining about how much Reach sucks, usually claiming that Armor abilites take no skill to use and that without the Br, the game isn't worth playing (Despite Halo CE not having the BR either) as well as how they claim that it plays too much like Call of Duty. Don't ask me why, they only justify they're claims because the game has a sprint feature.

15% is talking about Kat's Ass.I don't believe I have to go into detail about this one. This is just a bunch of pervy teenagers who were given the option to be a female Spartan and can't even handle that with a bit of Maturity.

I wish I was joking, but this was surprisingly true two weeks ago during the first Cr resets. The remaining 5% would be the ones who make the constant jokes about people whining all the time, but honestly, I don't really care that much thought, because these guys barely represent 25% of the Halo Reach playerbase.
