Now that I've finished the main series (I haven't played the investigations games yet), I'm curious to know what every thinks the most interesting characters were. I mean, there were some pretty hilarious and memorable ones.

Big fan of all the prosecutors, especially Edgeworth and Godot. Maya and Trucy are great too. My favourite criminal is the bomb guy in duel destinies. So funny. What were all your favourites? Also, are the investigation games worth a look?

The entire main cast of the AA trilogy is intriguing and has a lot of dimension to them, a big reason why they were so popular. Even Phoenix, who seems primarily angled towards always thinking or saying what the player is likely thinking, encounters many obstacles along his career path that force him to change the way he thinks about his entire profession and the definition of 'justice'.

I'm not quite as impressed with Larry Butz, who like Dick Gumshoe seems to be there for the occasional laugh at his expense and not much more. Edgeworth holds the crown in my eyes though. Beginning as the stuffy opposing prosecutor under the cruel mentoring of a man who is potentially the most evil person in the series, he gradually sees the truth and grows out of his trappings and his nightmares of the past. Only to end up struggling mentally with the same paradoxes in the system as his friend/rival Phoenix, except earlier.

I've only done the first three games so my knowledge isn't quite complete- there may be a character in the other games more evil than Manfred Von Karma. What kind of character would you want to see as a prosecutor, defence lawyer, or witness in a future game?

Dahlia is probably my favourite villain in the series. So manipulative, so cold, and so ridiculously close to the main characters.

I consider Investigations a little weaker than the main series; but it still is enjoyable, and closer to the adventure game genre.
