Most Irritating Support Character?

What is the most absolute, most irritating Support Character in the world? For me, it's a tie between Navi from Legend of Zelda, and Otacon.

Let me kill the seagulls in peace, damn it! It's not often I get to blow the **** out of them with a freaking rocket launcher. I still hate her... and those damned seagulls.

I'm trying to breech into a room right? It has two doors on opposite sides of the room. 3 terrorists and 2 hostages.
So I set up Red Team on the closest door and head round to the other side through cleared rooms to set up Blue Team.
When I gave the order, Blue team opens up Red Teams door, runs through the middle of said enemy infested room and are cut to pieces while hostages are killed also. Gunfire attracts more terrorists so when I try to save the situation, Red Team and I are outnumbered 5 to 3.

I'd take Navi and her incesant "Hey!" "Listen!" over these guys anyday.

Golden Sun! I used to LOVE those games. But FF13 has you beat with Snow, Hope, and Vanille. Besides having about the most unimaginative names known to man bestowed upon them, they are about the most one-dimensional, boring, and completely ANNOYING characters ever created. They should be wiped from existance.

I just remebered. SOCOM. OH. MY. GOD. They bounce the fucking grenades off the door frame, and kill themselves when they try to breach. They are some of the most incompetent teammates I've ever had in a game.

You know, I don't think I've ever encountered a support character who actually bothered me. I guess Hammond from Dead Space bothered me only because I thought he was trying to kill me the entire time, but wouldn't you know it

UGHHghghg Vanille, how any human can make those noises outside of sex is beyond me. Hope he was annoying in the beginning but after about 20 hours when he got some development (or what ever the right word is) he didn't bother me as much.

haha i nominate this. i remember doing that so many times, epic face palm everytime bravo tried to breach, and i ended up losing two squad members and had to van daam the whole freaking level by myself basically


the only was epic for that game, but MAN the single player had some issues, i could kick in a door running at it while holding X....but my guy can't take a simple order telling him to STAY THERE? i can't believe how many times i would have an idiot try and follow me and end up falling down a mountain side right into the enemies camp and have the V.I.P. get shot or something, that was fucking god awful.

i would also like to nominate cooke from lost odyssey, usually i dont get annoyed at all by any kind of character, final fantasy has yet to have a character actually annoy me in any possible way, but that kid....my. fucking. god. that kid is annoying and whiny as hell. he has some good magic stats but damn hes such a whiney little *****
