have you ever bought a game and realised that its the same as an another game with some changes? or bought a game and was compeled about how original the story was? let me know what you think the biggest rip-off of a game you have ever seen or the most original game you have seen.

None! All game stories are rip off of Lord Of the Rings, Alien, Starship Troopers, Star Wars, The Godfather, Indiana Jones, James Bond, Back to the Future and many many many other movies/books/tv/ series/board games bla bla bla.

Anyway to answer I think that Dead Space was a massive rip off of Solaris and Alien.

Well its getting rarer to find decent ripoff stories but its not like the 'uber' popular warcrafts coping of the tolkin universe a little with its humans-v-orks inital game or anything...

its rare to say the least, to say annoying copies would be battleforge and saga, man ea know how to piss me off sometimes

Bioshock's story was fairly original. Man crashes plane, goes into lighthouse, finds the evil twin of Atlantis, full of mutant freaks. *PLOT TWIST* Then it ends.

Ecco The Dolphin and Oddworld Strangers Wrath have pretty orinigal game stories. Fallout 3 and Oblivion are pretty similar to each other I swear that fly looked exactly like an imp when I first played Fallout 3.
