I was playing Batman Arkham Asylum yesterday and i got to the point where you fight killer crok (Did i spell that right) and that was such a big disappointed (Like my first sexual encounter.) All it amounted to was swatting him down (as mentioned in zp) so i got to thinking about some over hyped enemies.

#1 Killer Crok (Batman Arkham Asylum) (seriously how do you spell it)

#2 Super Mutant Behemoth's (Fallout 3) Not very diffuclt enemies, the only problem i could see them posing is if you stumbled into one at a low level, but i had no problem with them. Also i killed them all without the fatman! :)

#3 Last Mission (Saints row 2) The game built on this guy being a complete jack*** the whole game, but all the last mission turned out to be was killing a bunch of dudes and pushing the bad guy out the window, you don't even get to push him out the window it's in a cut scene.

Well thats all i could think of

Technically not a game one, but this is all I could think of.

Darth Vader (the movie one). They spent 3 full movies showing his back story and motivation, calling him 'The chosen one' etc, but in the original trilogy he wasn't that big of a player... That's as close as I can get to an overly-hyped enemy at the moment.

That's actually one of the reasons why I think George Lucas is a little insane. In the original trilogy, Darth Vader was not a huge influence on the story line at all. Several characters had a bigger emphasis than he. So why did the prequels have to focus on his back story? Beats me.

Not that big of a player? He's Luke's father! He and Luke have two epic lightsaber duels! He restores balance to the Force, defeats the Emperor, and saves Luke's life in one swift act of heroism! How is that over-hyped?

I never really had a problem with Clanfears in Oblivion. Although, my characters generally rely on Magic so I likely just attacked them from afar.

But being hyped up for three movies straight as 'the chosen one' I'd expect him to throw planets with his mind. Instead, Vader is more of the emperor's lap dog even being told what to do by mere imperial officers in the first one (see grand Moff Tarkin). I'd would expect more from someone like that, even if he did look badass.

Boba Fett. Seriously, he does NOTHING throughout the movies. NOTHING. And people worship him more than they worship Vader.

I'll stretch 'Enemy' to 'Most of VVVVVV'. Truth be told, it wasn't as hard as some people made it out to be, a few parts definitely notwithstanding. The difficulty curve felt like a horizontal line about halfway up, with intermittent leaps to the stratosphere. I guess it's kind of justified, though, because you can do most of the levels in any order you want and the difficulty progression shouldn't be too screwy.

I'm going with the Nightstalkers in Fallout New Vegas. My friends kept telling me that if I ever ran into any at a low level I should run the hell away but they aren't all that tough. I guess if there had been more of them I would've been screwed but if there are only a few then they're not anything to shake a stick at.

Deathclaws from Fallout 3, it might be a cheap way to play the game but the dart gun made it an easy game of making sure you didn't back into anything bad.
Yeah the dart gun as well as the rail rifle broke the game early on, aswell as later on the Terrible Shotgun, Xulong Assault rifle, & Lincolns repeater made me Jesus with more flexible ethics. But when you learned to use power armor the game might as well have called it quits because anything that posed a threat to me prior to that point was diminished (Along with my sneak skill.)

White Glint on Armored Core For Answer. She was hyped up to be the most badass of all badasses. She is a push-over in the arena, and only slightly tougher in the mission. You and Otsdarva (however that name is spelt) tag-team her. He goes under, leaving you alone to face a pilot hyped up to be a superbeast. Needless to say, she isn't. The stage is the only thing that makes it any bit of a challenge.
The Spirit of Motherwill (if it is the one I am thinking of) is also pretty easy. The MASSIVE walker with cannons that obliterate things is a piece of cake, assuming you can dodge the stupid amount of missles it fires. The Hard variety of the mission only adds some low level NEXT that you can completly ignore and makes your VOB (big booster pack) detach sooner.

Everything in Demon's Souls. The only enemy I fear going up against is False King Allant and Old King Doran.
False King is only scary because he can steal a level from you. As long as you master dodging, you can beat him fairly easy (especially with ranged attacks).

Lets see...

Lucien fight- Fable 2 (obvious reasons)
Reaper fight- Mass Effect 2 (the damned thing only had like 3 easily evaded attacks!)

I'm sure there's more... I just can't think of them fight now...
