Okay.
I recently went out and bought Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, and got... oh, say, 6 hours in, and saw this scene
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvOYg6_Aevk
And this guy, Decus, struck me as the most ridiculous, hilarious character I've seen in a long time.
So I'm wondering; are there any other incredibly ridiculous characters out there? If you can link me to a vid with them, I'd appreciate it.

The woman from Prince of Persia: Warrior Within has a metal thong and bends over. It hurts just looking at the screen.

Waluigi

The guy has a perpetual smile, and can never stand up straight (he can't straighten his legs nor his spine, for fuck's sake).

I have to add that whoever named Waluigi should be shot for plain lazyness.

So we have Wario, which makes sense because its Mario but with the M upside down. They didn't just use the Wa prefix to denote evil, so why the hell does Waluigi make any sense as a name?? Surely if you turn the L upside down you get a T..almost.. Tuigi more sense. Or at least as much sense.

Ok, that was an odd rant, but it bothers me.

Frog from Crono Trigger. I was never able to get used the poses he made and also a frog that was able to use a sword just made me scared of frogs ever since.

There are so many to choose from! Tingle from Zelda [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tingle], a quarter of all characters from any Japanese game (the other three quarters are just generic), Pyramid Head [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_head] (he's not a bad character, but he's a man with a pyramid for a head)... actually I can't think of many games that don't have a ridiculous character. Who is King Ridiculous?

Ah! How could I ever forget the eternal "Tingle, Tingle, Koolooh-Limpah!" (or was it Koolah limpah?)

I favor Poisen [http://www.noe-v.com/images/articles/poison01.jpg] from Street fighter, Birdo [http://www.freewebs.com/superzambezi/Birdo.jpg] from mario and Bridget [http://www.games.net/features/images/115881_16.jpg] from Guilty gear.

If you can't guess why then this is the reason would be that they are all MEN

Ouch, that shot hurt! >_<

Well, yes, it is quite obvious that he is a weird and creepy character, my point still stands that he's weird and creepy. :p

Poison is a post-op tranny. S/he's still hot, though.

If you want to know the specific story behind Poison's gender, look it up. You will get the full answer easily.

I meant the games designer who actually named Waluigi, not you for bringing him up. I agree that everything about him is ridiculous.

Well, it's interesting that you bring that up, because, surprisingly, Waluigi's name actually makes sense. Here is an excerpt from the Super Mario Wiki, which I know is legitimate since I've read similar articles years before. Observe, and be amazed:

Waluigi has two meanings in Japanese. The Japanese word for "bad" or "evil", warui, is also a condescending apology, instead of ones which are more polite. Waluigi's name is a portmanteau of "evil" and "Luigi", forming "Evil Luigi". However, some think his name is a cheap offshot of Wario's name, not knowing the name's Japanese origins.

Waluigi can also be pronounced in Japanese as Waruiji, an anagram for Ijiwaru, Japanese for "mean-spirited". Also worth noting is that the same sound is used for L and R in Japanese.

Here's the article from which I obtained this excerpt. [http://www.mariowiki.com/Waluigi#Name]

Nevertheless, I would agree with you if you said that his name still sounds dumb despite its origins.
