You have spent the last hour trying to get past this one guy. He shouldn't be causing you this much pain, so you walk away.
You come back later, and are able to beat him instantly.

Or there is the one character who irritates you, every thing about them, their clothes, their hair, their voice. Everything. But whats this, I can hurt them, even better than that I can KILL them. Lets go. (The obvious example here is Mission from KOTOR).

For me, the most recent example is in Hitman: Blood Money (Hardly recent I realise), in the level Heaven and Hell you face off against two other assassins. The male one goes on about how he is the greatest assassin ever. Well I was playing it on easy (achievement whoring) and didn't want to go through his whole thing, so I walked up to him while he is tending bar, got the silverballer and BAM, one right between the eyes. No one even stopped me on the way out. It felt so good knowing him and his ego had just been splattered all over the back of the bar.

Anyway, add your own. Or pay me out for playing such an old game, or the achievement whoring.

Erm, hasn't this thread been done around six thousand times already..? *shrug*

Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal
Finishing off the last boss (who is a right royal pain in the bee-hind with added evil minions) and making the decisions at the end was an insanely satisfying moment for me, especially as I had played through the entire saga with that one character over quite a long period of time. To finally wrap it up was just...awesome.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
The end part of the game when you choose one of the paths that lets LaCroix open up the sarcophagus...to a rather explosive finale. Let's just say that he's one of the best characterised NPC's I've ever had the most intense hatred for in a game. Seriously, the way he was portrayed as a jackass was spot-on.
