What in your opinion is the most unfair enemy in gaming? Why? I don't mean bosses or mini bosses or anything just regular henchmen type enemies.

In my opinion those twin things with the giant claws from Bayonetta(the gold ones not the blue and red ones) are just bullshit to the extreme on hard mode especially they just jump at u and gang rape u before u even know what happened and witch time doesn't work on them is the crippling factor that and they have a health bar bigger than most of early bosses. they don't even think that's enough because there faster than you and can drain your life bar in one quick combo I mean if u jump in the air u better pray they get stuck on the world geometry or there arthritis starts to flare up because you'll go down faster than the Hindenburg. granted they appear as bosses as one point but after that they show up constantly...

Well... Deathclaws can be pretty damn evil/unfair, if they see you and get within range.
Or just any standard enemy on the CoD games, on Veteran difficulty.
They don't even have to be masters of nuking, they can insta-kill with pea-shooters...

Any enemy with a one-hit kill attack, is immune to spell or other related effects, poisons you with a single attack.

Like these assholes, fuckers were immune to my paralyze spell.

Badasses in Borderlands...
pff. Play a Soldier or Berserker. Focus on Combat Rifles and Berserk skill, respectively. Watch their pathetic attempt to kill you fail humorously.

Or, if they're your level or lower, run them over with a car.

I would go with Like-Likes from Zelda. That shield costs hard-earned money you bastards!

Bad control mechanics, a la Star Destroyer in Star Wars: Force Unleashed
Oh god that bit was annoying. Why do I have to pull it left and right and up. Wouldn't straight down be the most logical option?

I don't know if these guys count as regular enemies, but the game starts throwing them at you at about the same rate as regular enemies as the game goes on, so I'm gonna take the chance.

If you played The Force Unleashed from start to finish, chances are you probably already know who it's going to be.

That's right, this guy. It's not that they're particularly difficult to defeat. Provided you've put some points into lightning based attacks, it doesn't take much skill to bring them down. What's unfair about them are those damn homing missiles that they fire at you from across the fucking map.

Like, you'll be jumping and doublejumping in place, trying to reach a holocron or something, and then suddenly, BOOM! You lose a chunk of life from one of these guys firing a homing missile at your back before you even knew they were there!

Later in the game, when they start coming at you in groups of two and three along with squads of regular and Force-proofed stormtroopers, the nightmare really begins. If you're not moving from side to side, jumping and dodging constantly, you WILL be knocked down and annihilated by a steady stream of homing missiles, blaster fire and probably AT-ST blasters too, because hey, why not make the game more unfair?

No, I'm not bitter.

They aren't bad. Here's a tip for God of War 1; You CANNOT be turned to stone while evading (even if you are in the path of the petrify beam) so just dodge all over the place when they try to turn you to stone. Also, when not using petrify gaze, their tail twitches and their upper body moves right before they lunge at you; hit block right as you see it.

Hmm. It's been like two years since I've played that game... Playing through on the hardest difficulty burns so many things into your mind...
