I bought my very first cordless mouse a while ago, Logitech M310, and have been horribly disappointed by its accuracy. I know that this is a cheap mouse (that is sort of why I bought it), I'm willing to spend the cash to get a better one, but I'm wondering if cordless mice are just inherently less actuate that corded ones. Is this a valid concern? Does anyone have cordless mice that they are happy with? Thanks.

What do you mean by its accuracy? Do you mean the cursor jumps all over the screen? If so, you might want to check the surface you're using it on. Anything that isn't smooth and opaque will throw any sort of optical mouse off. If it seems to be losing connection, it could be the USB receiver for the mouse is bad or your USB plug itself is bad or slow.

I've had a variety of corded ones, primarily the basic Dell or Microsoft variety. As for the accuracy issue, sluggish is probably a better description. I stop moving my hand and it takes half a tick for the cursor to stop too.

Sounds like a delay between the mouse and the receiver. And since your corded ones worked fine, I think it's safe to assume it's not your USB outlet but rather the mouse itself.

My only advice is try another mouse. I wish I could give you advice what brand to choose, but I'm really not a fan of cordless mice (I hate having to pay for batteries). I recommend just going on Amazon and reading a few reviews on the major brands. See what good they have to say, and what problems ail them if any. And look up your current mouse too, see if anyone else is having the same problem or yours was just a lemon.
