I started three other threads concerning my Movie List (a list of movies I have not seen, but plan to see), but this time, it's personal... I mean, different. Anyway, the List currently encompasses over two hundred movies; to be exact, there are 234 movies on my List. This is far too long, in my opinion, and it's only going to get longer as time goes on. So, what I need is suggestions on what to omit from the list. Take a look at it, and if there's something I can do without, pipe up (or is that type up?) and say so. Also, If you feel I shouldn't leave anything out, please say so in the poll. Thanks, everybody.

The Last Samurai, Stepbrothers, Iron Man 2, Harry Potter Movies, Bruce Almighty and Chicken Run are all ones I would cut out. Most of those are still worth watching, but they are definitely not "must sees".

Wow that's a pretty good list, it begs the question - what kind of movies DO you watch? I'm shocked that so many good films could have gone ignored for this long. ;)

Anyway, it seems to me like you have a ton of really terrible horror/sci-fi movies from before 1970 that you probably won't gain anything by watching. Unless of course, you're already aware of how awful Plan 9 From Outer Space really is, and plan to watch it so you can make fun of it.

Cut all the Harry Potter movies, read the books instead.

I'd also cut Zombieland, Sweeny Todd and Gangs of New York.

all of the Harry Potter movies, Cloverfield, Sweeny Todd, Pan's Labyrinth, X-men: The Last Stand, Bruce Almighty, Donnie Darko, Spirited Away, The Green Mile (1999), Mission: Impossible (1996), Dracula: Dead and Loving It, Home Alone, Top Gun, The NeverEnding Story, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, History of the World; Part I, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, A Clockwork Orange, and zombieland can go, in my opinion. and if you haven't already seen them, die hard 2 and 3 are pretty good, i saw that you had the first one on the list.

Army of Darkness. I cannot emphasise it enough, it's a must see movie. An action packed hilarious genre defying monument of a B-movie, featuring Bruce Campbell, one of the most awesome people of all time, as the lead. It's truly one of the greatest movies of all time, and not in a "so-bad-it's-good" way, in a genuine "so-fucking-awesome-I-think-I-just-came" way. Essential.

I really don't like Kill Bill and Spirited Away (Don't hit me) - but I guess those are still the movies you should see.
Man, is there a lot of movies you haven't seen that easily make my top 100. I basically can't remove anything - there are no movies I consider outright bad on that list.
As for adding, watch Groundhog Day, Midnight Run, Taking Care Of Business and The Rock. Yes, the Michael Bay one.

There are definitely more movies to see, but the only one I can think of to add to that list is Dr. Strangelove based on your interest in Kubrick.

You can cut Cloverfield, Step Brothers, Watchmen (just read the comic), the Harry Potter movies, Mars Attacks!, and X-Men: The Last Stand.

No. No it can't. Do not believe this lie.
