Okay just saw the Berlin music video, 'Take my breath away' playing in the background (no questions) and it got me thinking...

This video, especially the ending visuals, totally looks like A Nightmare on Elm Street (the good one) crossed with Top Gun. The more I thought about it, the more it felt like, strangely enough, it could work as a film.

Kinda like - a sleep deprived pilot, battling inner demons, starts getting stalked by a real demon. Waking dreams and reality bleed together...in a F-14!

Kinda, sorta, really awful... now I think about it - but still.

Movie Mash ups are a weird thing ie this was described as Die Hard on a Boat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkjekoxHX4Y and this was described as Rocky mixed with Aliens http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAKdyVyr-og if you believe the articles you read on the net.

Hell, this ditty was loosely described as Terminator meets Halloween http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fwKKIllzFc

Hows about you? Enter the Dragon mixed with 2001? Mad Max mixed with The Goonies? (these ones actually exist btw)

Ever had a kooky movie you wanted to see? Are there ones out there that people may not realize for what they are?

Or do I need to do something about the shitty music videos I watch?

If you take the brackets away from the links, people will be able to click on them instead of copying and pasting them.

Anyway...Tom Baker's run of doctor who had an awful lot of this...but then, there's nothing new under the sun.

Aahh noted. I still remember the Super Mario Bros Super Show / Indiana Jones crossover (not exactly a movie mash up) but still...
