I'm sure most of you had a favorite movie as a kid, but is there any that you can honestly say that you like as much as you did back then, and that you could still watch and be entertained by? Toy Story is an excellent example from my childhood.

First Home Alone did it for me. Ahh..........slapstick humor. Also, Beauty and the Beast. Would it be weird if I said I fell for the Beast?

Rock & Rule (or ring of power if your from canada) It's an animated sci-fi movie thats like heavy metal meets looney toones. it had a killer soundtrack and i remeber loving it as a kid but by the time i was of age where i could start buying my own movies it was out of print. It took over 10 years!!! before they finally re-released in on DVD and i can honestly say i like in now just as much as i did then.

I was pretty much blown away by the effects of Jurassic Park. I remember seeing Titanic when it came out and was pretty shocked I could sit through a movie of that length. Jumanji is another film I enjoyed as a kid and could still stand to watch.

As far as kids movies I saw as a kid...other than some of the awesome Disney Renaissance films it's hard to say.

There was this cartoon I loved as a kid that I still think is great that not a lot of people may know about.
Once Upon a Forest
It's a cartoon with woodland critters, one of them gets sick and the friends journey to find a plan to cure her. It's a sweet journey with it's twists and suspense. The things that I liked about it, is that the character names weren't based on the animal that they were or were some terrible pun, as this occurs far too often when animal characters are named. It had a good production and was just charming.

Ghostbusters, and the kid-friendly sequel Ghostbusters 2.
I watched the crap out of those as a kid, and the first one still holds up as being one of my favourites.
Humour in the new game fell pretty damn flat though...

I still love The Neverending Story(only the first 2), The Brave Little Toaster, The Nightmare Before Christmas(not for the crappy emo reasons), Willow, Ferngully, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(all 3 live action ones) and The Dark Crystal, and many many more.

I have them all on VHS, and on DVD.

As a kid I loved anything starring the Muppets. Muppet Treasure Island, Muppet Christmas Carol, and The Muppet Movie were some of my favorites. I'm still fond of them to this very day.

Fantasia is another childhood movie I still have an affection for. I remember my favorite part was the part with the dinosaurs.
