Movies/games you won't admit happened (AKA there's only one Matrix movie)

What specific part of your favorite franchise have you written out of your memory?

Examples:

#1 "Hardcore" Zelda fans won't acknowledge that there was ever a cel shaded child version of Link.

#2 Batman never got old and gave a young boy a flying batsuit (Batman Beyond)

You get the gist...

EDIT: No, I don't personally believe what is written in the 2 examples. I have yet to play WW because of the cel shadedness, but I'm going to try it out...

Star wars new trilogy. Didn't happen. I don't know what these people are talking about... midichlorians.

Well, really, Link has always been "Cartoon-like" up until Ocarina of time and Majora's mask. Anyone who just bases their idea of Link off of those couldn't really be hardcore?

I love Zelda.

Wind Waker and the sequels on DS were awesome.

Well... two come to mind.
Starship Troopers 2 and 3.
Specifically number 3. It wasn't a Starship Troopers film.
It was an advertising campaign for religion.
And that kinda finished the job that the second film started...
Only the first one was good. The second had its good parts, though few they were.
Three, basically none...

Dragonball GT never happened. The plausibility of Goku becoming younger was one in infinity...make it not possible in my mind.

And Batman Beyond was kinda cool IMO.

Every Zelda fan in the world claims the CD-I games don't exist, and with good reason.

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel was treated similarly. Apparently it sucked or something. I've never played it, so I can't say.

The Dragonball GT issue is one I take to the heart, the whole thing is just one confused fanfic to me. (That guy is not Vegeta)

I don't actually believe that thing about Batman Beyond, it's just known that certain fans don't like it. I like to think of it as an alternate future

Ah denial. the first of the seven stages of the kubler-ross grief cycle. Soon enough you'll move on to the anger stage and annoy people by flaming Internet forums.

The animated Lord of the Rings movie, where the Nazgul look like poorly-drawn construction paper cutouts bouncing in front of a backdrop and Boromir looks like a Viking (sort of). Argh.

Death Proof. Tarantino's a great director! This doesn't even pass as average!

Also, for the other ones... The other three Star Wars movies and the third Matrix movie I view as lore. I don't watch them because they suck as movies, but I do see the whole story with that.

And Wind Waker was great!

Excel Saga has a weird way of numbering episodes. They go from 1 to 13 and then the following episode is 17.

Tom and Jerry: The Movie.

They talked, and there was a plot.

How the hell do you make a story out of two animals beating the hell out of each other and vandalizing a house?

You don't, that's how.

The Harry Potter movies never happened, as well as the movie for Eragon. Especially the movie for Eragon.

Also, Green Day never made International Superhits, House stopped after the first episode of season six, and The Simpsons' last show they ever made was The Simpsons Movie ("better to quit while your ahead" is what Matt Groening was reported to say when asked why he was discontinuing the franchise).

EDIT: And Adam Lambert never lost American Idol.

DOUBLEEDIT: And Bleach ended after episode sixty-four.
